"the only thing i could do at footy was hit the ball very hard" bit like beckham then..the only guy i know who reinvented the word shit,,meaning, im fit to women, but..im still shit.
Wow, it's so strange and chilling to hear him talking about death like that, I'm welling up just watching this... D: I was a little too young to appreciate everything he did for music, but his legacy definitely lives on. RIP.
john peel is legend, i'm american so i never heard him on the radio actually but i know about him and own tons of peel sessions records of my favorite bands
I think its the balding and the soft facial features. All though they both do have lots of mannerisms. like they both have this eye brow raising thing.
John Peel would of been top of my dinner party guests. A real national treasure and sadly missed.

I miss John Peel's easy wit. Rest in noisy records, John. (Not that he can read this, of course...)

The death bit was creepy - especially handing him the grim reaper. He died less than 24 months after this...

Death is undoubtedly necessary, but why murder? Just for the sake of murder mystery novels?

i wish that death had gone into room 101. Just for John. Bless him. Does that mean it's all Paul Merton's fault?
