it actaully sounds like the 2nd half of the fairy fountain repeating without the first part. Because the fairy fountain theme lowers in pitch 4 times, in the 1st half, then raises 3 times and lowers agian, like this song.

I tried getting through that level with that big fish chasing you, i was playing on an emulator and used some game genie codes JUST FOR FUN. But even though, i tried at least 10 times getting through the level but i always fell into the water and that damn fish ate me everytime even though i fought back. Eventually, it pissed me off pretty badly and i quit the game. Fuck you giant fish!
