  • Yeah, I saw him waiting for the Matadi ferry back in 1971. (Before the bridge was built)

  • Papa, since I was born in the South West of Cameroon, I have never heard a piece of music so sweet like Kolo Histoire. Soter Sotelo

  • Ahhh, I miss the joyous dancing. Nasepelisa ngai. Can't spell in Lingala and barely remember much of it. I loved the two years I spent in Aketi. They called it Aketi Bisengo. Soooo long ago when I danced with the man himself at a night club called Inga Inga in Kinsangani 30 years ago now. He actually remembered me when I came to listen to him in Kinshasa in 1982.

  • congo has really thin girls...and beautiful ones too...look them rock the hips and wave

they move like it means nun while we going to pay $500 for only a month leason on how to rock them hips..fuckin hate this...but i can move though...it frustrating to ma sis

  • Oh please! I don't even have to pay $500 dollars for no lesson. I know how to move them naturally. That is damn right! I am naturally skilled. I am a woman! I know how to move my hips without takin a lesson!

  • Preach oooon sister. Damn right

  • No wonder Papa is held in such high esteem in Lingala music. Very moving beats....great work Mzee!!!!

  • Zimbabwe,tu es le meilleur

  • Sweet Africa.God please continue to bless this continent

  • Al pachino aza danzeeeee

  • brilliant music. rich culture. isn't it such a shame that much of what one is shown/told on the media is about how the people are just fighting one ugly war with rusty marchete and AKs and killing each other none-stop? God bless Africa. If only our people can just realize what's good and put away all the whiteman's weapons of evil (give back the AKs to the ruskis and mr putin, toss away the marchete back to whoever they got it from...dunno) and just eat, dring and dance makossa all day.

  • da 90's was da best era of congo...and the music too

  • I hope it wasn't the best era! I'm sure the Congolese can do much better than that...
