  • yes you like teh knobs ? try tapping the pads the girls will like it more

  • @FuturedaveyP Yes, if you use the MIDI out on your gear, and your software recognizes its midi messages, you can set your DAW to accept start/stop messages via MIDI. My Yamaha keyboard is daisychained via midi into my PadKontrol midi in, and I can send start/atop messages in FLStudio with that old thing.

  • All you did was twist the two knobs..

  • did you make all of the samples yourself?

  • chato

  • chato :(

  • this thing is in wrong hands lol.

  • really nice.

    i like it =)

  • the padkontrol is a beast;

your shirt is dope too haha

  • 75$ this and 75$ korg es-1 from a buddy ;P

  • i've got mine for 90€ :P

  • this is bad

  • $130-140 on ebay with Novamusic

  • they cost about 200

but you can find some for like 170

  • how much u pay 4 dat??

  • got mine for £120

  • yup same

  • £96 ebay + P&P

  • $167 @ DJDeals. free shipping right now too. =)

  • if you dont have any synths plugged in, what do knobs 1 & 2 do?

  • what ever you assign them to do

  • Does anyone know how to get a pad to trigger an audio sample in logic?

  • Yes. You have to cut the sample you want. Bounce it from the sample editor to the EXS24 andmake sure the note setting on the padKontrol matches the note the sample is on in the piano roll. Logic sucks for this kind of stuff in my opinion.

  • Hahaha Logic sucks for this stuff???

You can drop samples in Ultrabeat and trigger them any way you want (amongst like 10 other ways to do it) ..are you just not smart enough to use Logic? it takes knowledge unlike Ableton. Try messing around with the environment layer and get back to me ;)

  • It sounds good, but I'm going to assume you're just messing with resonance, right? Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you unskilled; it's not like I could do better myself XD It just seems like you didn't do very much in this video. Have you improved on fingerdrumming since you first posted this?

  • what software do you use to start and stop samples?

  • i use Propellerhead Reason. and I assigned mute button of the mixer to each pad.

  • @popshopmusik Hey, im looking at this controller for use with reason 5 / record 1.5 but hav a couple of Q's. Wud appreciatte your advice. No.1. Is this easy to set up for use with Kong? No.2. I have an MPC 5000- i hear that can be used with reason as a midi controller, if so, do you know how i wud set this up? No.3. Is it a daft question to ask if a Zoom Streetbox drum machine cud but set up as a midi controller for Kong? Ok, cheers.

  • @FuturedaveyP If you have MIDI ins on your sound card, like with an M-Audio delta series card like the 2496, then yes, you can use an MPC as a master controller. Not sure about the streetbox. I have my padkontrol and my electribe ES-mkII hooked up to my computer. I'm getting an SP404sx to replace my old electribe, but even that old thing can hook up to my sound card and cue samples in a DAW.

  • @TheLordMaitreya i got a padkontrol in the end rather than have the huge mpc5000 next to my laptop. it was a good choice ive found. you mention the electribe. i have both the emx and sx. i record into Presonus studio one and also Reason 5 / Record 1.5. i set the tempos the same, set a precount and hit play on the electribe at the right time and record. its worked perfectly so far but, is there a way to have the DAW trigger the play button on record start? if so, how? cheers ears

  • hey man what program do you use?

  • like that

  • thank you!
