I have Halo 9, Closer to god but it is the U.K import. So all songs are on it, I have the "A" disk for Further Away, but not "B" I have been a total fan since I reached the age of lyrical comprehension, the music is the mentality in the lyrics. It takes certain creative minds to appreciate the deepness that is seething from it's body of work. I totally understand that not everyone adores them, and I get it. I have been religiously listening for 15 years now, haters: your just too shallow to get.

In my opinion - To start liking NIN songs like this one you have to start out light, then go even deeper(yup).

I starded from The Fragile, then went to With Teeth, Year zero, then started liking broken and after broken i started liking Pretty Hate Machine more than i used to. The Downward Spiral was the last stop. If i would start from this song i would never have gone that deep with NIN, and i would never buy any of their CD's (right now i have 5, i want all of them!)

If this is the first video you've heard this song on, then it's no surprise a lot of random people are saying it sucks.

NIN is music you have to get into yourself. No one can usher you in or tell you it's "awesome." You just have to dig deep enough on your own terms to find it -- and then you'll know that it's truly awesome because you were the one that looked around and gave it a shot.

For those who don't know, this song was not written by Trent Reznor, it was written by Marc Almond and Dave Ball of Soft Cell (remember Reznor was into Electro pop back in the 80's). It appears Soft Cell even made a few versions of it, but those who want to listen to the original can look up "Non-Stop Ecstatic Dancing" which is Soft Cell's 1982 album.

another good one is "All the Pigs, All Lined Up" from March of the Pigs double single.... you should add that one too (its a great extended remix of the original). Some of the Reptile remixes were godly too. Pretty much all those singles centered around the Downward Spiral.

The original Soft Cell version is awesome. That's why Trent covered this song. Plus this in not really a rarity, since the closer single sold really well back in the day.
