That's terrifying, I really thought these countries were much more developed. As a Black American, it very common in our culture to receive physical punishments from our parents. I'm sure there are some that don't but it's pretty rare if they don't...but I've seen several children from certain backgrounds that call their parents names I dare not say even in my mother's presence. =/

In comparison of SHINee, MBLAQ teach the kids. They teach them manners and don't pay much attention to their idol image. So Joon is right and as punishment to give a claps on the butt, I think for a baby it's ok. So Leo can learn from that. I like MBLAQ's hello baby more. :) (and that's from a hardcore shawol^^ )
@TheCaPiLoVe Ya, I am a MBLAQ fan but I absolutely adored SHINee HB. Yoogeun is so cute! But like you said, I don't think it was wrong of Joon since he didn't really hurt Leo anyways (whereas Leo hit Joon where he broke his nose before, so it did actually hurt poor Joonie). They are all still kids with growing up to do, so I think MBLAQ so far is doing a good job being parents.
There are just all sorts of differences between the two HB seasons, but I think that both will have their own charms~
@TheCaPiLoVe ..SHINEE did gave their baby (Yo Geun?) lessons....but their baby was not as rambunctious as Leo. Remember the part when they were attempting to teach them to bow, to say thanks and apologize? They were even telling him to step on his appa Tae Min which he did not want to do. With 3 kids, MBLAQ's task is a lot harder compared to previous episodes, plus bec they are interracial they can be disciplined with slight variations as full Korean parents.
@etrnlygr8tful .Viewers should open their minds about the show, part of rearing kids is discipline & when they get spanked (lightly) the one who disciplined the kid MUST look at the kid eye to eye & explain why he got spanked or however form of discipline it was and then let them both apologize to each other. I too agree about Joon disciplining Leo, what he missed though is telling him to stop and explain to him why hitting & kicking is wrong, he just spanked him, which he apologized in the end

Kids just need to feel comfort and familiarity with MBLAQ. Then they will be comfortable.
Remember how Yoogeun stuck to Minho and didn't respond to Jonghyun at first but then he warmed up and showed Jonghyun lots of skinship. Onew shied away from Yoogeun but Yoogeun kept trying to get close to him.
Once Dayoung feels comfortable around not only GO then she may be more responsive.
When they were talking about Pororo and who their favourite character was, Leo misintrepreted and picked Cheondoong as his favourite dad. :)) Leo+Cheondoong+Joon, Seungho+Lauren, Dayoung+G.O, Mir+all of them :)

I don't think they like Lauren more than Dayoung it's just that Lauren is easier to deal with/get close to in a way. She's obedient and does aegyo so the members are naturally drawn to her, while Dayoung is a little more quiet and withdrawn. It takes longer to gain her trust and get close to her. As the episodes continue I'm sure she'll warm up to them :)

Everyone is complaining about Dayoung but honestly even watching this without subs makes me sad. She can obviously sense that in a lot of areas Lauren is considered "superior" to her, so of course she's going to get jealous/non responsive. Lauren's hanbok looks better on her, Lauren knows how to sing/dance, Lauren does everything well. Every child is different, not all of them can be as docile as Lauren. I just hope they figure out that she needs just a bit more attention and praise most of all.
LOL @ MIR's bookshelves full of "educational" comic books.....MIR got schooled by Dayong when she corrected him when he said...her mom is from the Philippines and her face when her mom mentioned in her letter to the appas that she likes steak. Dayong is the diva..she has the attitude even her own mom said that, she's one who needs to warm up first to get her in the good mood. Don't criticize the boys abilities to look after kids this is also new to them as much as the kids..they too will learn.

@NatsumiNL i agree. kids are very perceptive and understand more than we think. i think she senses their like for lauren. it looks like it made her more withdrawn. i totally feel bad. they've been saying lauren was pretty since the last episode, any girl would feel insecure whether she was 3 or 13...

Well i must say, that when i was a child i was just exactly as Lauren and i always was spending time with my cousin, and then my uncle and family get tired of how much attention i was getting, and they start treating me like Dayoung, PLEASE DON'T EVER TREAT BAD A CHILD, i'm saying this because everyone in here is supporting Dayoung, when you should be supporting the equality between Lauren and Dayoung. We don't want another sweet girl, with a great succesfull future, living on depression

I don't think they like Lauren more than Dayoung it's just that Lauren is easier to deal with/get close to in a way. She's obedient and does aegyo so the members are naturally drawn to her, while Dayoung is a little more quiet and withdrawn. It takes longer to gain her trust and get close to her. As the episodes continue I'm sure she'll warm up to them :)

Everyone is complaining about Dayoung but honestly even watching this without subs makes me sad. She can obviously sense that in a lot of areas Lauren is considered "superior" to her, so of course she's going to get jealous/non responsive. Lauren's hanbok looks better on her, Lauren knows how to sing/dance, Lauren does everything well. Every child is different, not all of them can be as docile as Lauren. I just hope they figure out that she needs just a bit more attention and praise most of all.

LOL @ MIR's bookshelves full of "educational" comic books.....MIR got schooled by Dayong when she corrected him when he said...her mom is from the Philippines and her face when her mom mentioned in her letter to the appas that she likes steak. Dayong is the diva..she has the attitude even her own mom said that, she's one who needs to warm up first to get her in the good mood. Don't criticize the boys abilities to look after kids this is also new to them as much as the kids..they too will learn.

@etrnlygr8tful I completely agree. Seungho first of all would be awkward because he grew up with only male cousins where he was the oldest (so he's expected to act a certain way). But it would be hard for anyone to all of a sudden watch 3 kids (one is bad enough).
I mean, I feel bad for Dayoung but we have to keep in mind MBLAQ are still kids too... This is the first time they're the parents and they're obviously overwhelmed. Just give them time though. They will be awesome appas =)

Well of course they like Lauren more. She knows proper etiquette at a young age. Lets admit it, even in reality, parents do favor a kid over another although they love them the same way. DaYoung needs a lot of attention. I think these guys need to take them to Disney. hahah.
