I think it's funny how ignorant people are when they call them "illegal immigrants" when their ancestry has occupied this continent for, GENERATIONS, you, the rejects of your home country, come here kill & repress the native population and when those that were spared by assimilation try to migrate toward land that has ALWAYS been theirs you call them illegal. This IS their land and therefore their country. They WILL take it back, whether by pure virtue of numbers or by acceptance, your choice.
The United States is strong because of the people who have come here to make a better life and in the process made a better country. Our system does strain under the impact of immigration and poverty but I don't believe that is the result of immigrants and refugees. We have spent decades underfunding our country's safety net so now any challenge is difficult to address. Human rights don't stop at a line we draw on a map, no matter how many walls we erect. As a country founded by and full of immigrants (only those who are full native american can say otherwise), we should NOT be talking and criticizing the parents of these kids for wanting a better life. It is not these kids' faults that they are in the situation that they are in. Just imagine what it would be like if we, the children of immigrants were unable to be legalized. We'd be screwed.

Blame your parents for your situation. How its it my fault? Should you be able to jump ahead of everyone else in line? I have no sympathy. You can still go to college you just have to pay out of state tuition and not a dime of taxpayer money to assist. Grab a tissue.
I think MOST US citizens where willing to give illegal immigrants a chance. But then we saw the marches. We saw people fly foreign flags in the USA. They show loyalty to a country they fled and has done nothing for them. That is a slap in the face. They make no efforts to learn the language and assimilate into the USA. They think that they should be able to come in illegally and get a free ride to citizenship. Sorry people have died 4 the USA. We need people who will be loyal to it not diss it.

My anscestors were legal immigrants in the 1680's via New Orleans and they had to fulfill 7 years of indentured servitude in Jamaica to pay for the voyage. End illegal immigration.
