True, Beth isn't any better, that's just a matter of opinion; they're all different. But i hate it when ppl condemn artists as being inately inferior merely because they came after.

Just because someone was fortunate to come first by mere chance ASWEL as talent, it doesn't mean the subsequent artists COULDN'T have been the ones to set the trend. And it DEFINITLY isn't fair to label them copycats. As brilliant as Amy is, she doesn't own the '60s-retro sound' she's famous for.

They are aware of a classic in the making as it is happening...Beth is good and different but not special...No one comes first by fortune or "mere chance" by the way...you have to work hard, be original or have a natural talent...Anyway I never said Amy's style was entirley new...

Can't wait until Beth does a headline tour (as long as she plays Manchester!):o) I have been waiting since I saw her support Duke Special last May & she was phenomenal, I even got a flyer signed afterwards & she was lovely! A real pity she is being lumped in with the Adele, Duffy crowd though! They dont have an ounce of feeling or soul in their voices when compared! I'd like to see them try & tackle almost persuaded & not just do it justice but make it better like Beth does!
