  • I have been struggling with learning to Knit Continental style for months. Biggest problem: how to tension the yarn whilst moving back & forth between the different stitches easily - maintaining even tension. Your videos have been a great help! Thanks & please add more! You are our "personal" knitting trainer!

  • I'm glad they've been helpful!. You'll find the right combination for you; stick with it.

I keep trying to make my left index finger do more work but it doesn't want to and my pinky doesn't tension well. But this works for me.... for now. :)

  • You must be a combination knitter. All that matters is your sts aren't twisted. Do you wrap your yarn clockwise where as I wrap counter-clockwise? So long as you knit and purl the leading leg you should be ok. To get the same effect as KTBL you need to work the non-leading leg (aka the trailing leg). Here's a chart which might help you

  • Ah, it must not like the link I've been trying to add. So here's a creative approach to typing it....

Yikes replying to this has been quite difficult. Must be because it was originally tagged as sp*m.

  • Hello...I have a question and I hope that you can answer...I Knit and Purl through the Back...the yarn always stays in the back...if there is a stitch that says Knit Through Back Loop...what do I do? do I Knit Through The Front instead...because I don't think it will make a difference if I Knit In The Back Loop...since I Knit that way....
