We were the only other people sitting in first class on our way from Indy to LA. We initially said hi to him but he was sitting in the last row of first class and we were in the 2nd row. So we waited until 2 hours into the flight and our dad talked to David for about 10 minutes and David was very cool and nice. Then after the plane landed at LAX we got him to say hi to our Flip Cam for our Mimi and Lili show. Then he talked to us more as we walked out together and he got in his limo.

David was very humble and gracious. The kind of guy that you root for. It was very ironic that I just happened to be on the flight with my daughter and her best friend flying to LA as she now has an agent for acting and model print. David signed an encouraging autograph to her on her boarding pass and let us get a cool picture of him with the girls. He was the only other person in first class besides us. I only talked to him for 5 min on the flight. He said goodbye to my daughter at LAX.

God must have delt you a good card that day lol And koodose on the only talking for 5 minutes, cause if it were me i would have to deal a lot of strength to only talk for 5 minutes lol thanks for replying and Good Luck to your daughter!! Yup. Very nice humble guy. He did a crossword puzzle around takeoff and then slept for a couple hours. Then I chatted with him for about 5 minutes and he signed a couple of autographs for my daughter and her friend and then let us video him and get a picture. He said he was as surprised as I was that Archuleta did not win. Said he felt blessed to win.

Oh God you lucky lucky girls! Thank you so much for sharing this even though it was short. I would have stared for the whole two hours at him! Glad he finally got some sleep although he still looked pretty sleepy! Glad to see they are treating him like the star that he is in first class! Then again, pandemoniun would ensue in coach!! Thank you for respecting him-his life will never be the same, and I bet he isn't used to first class! Did he have a bodyguard?? or snore? :)

Lucky! That must've been soo awsome getting to meet him! It's cool that u kept the vid short and didn't make him do a whole interview thing- I'm not sure I would've been able to restrain myself from asking a bunch of questions!

That was really nice of him to let you video tape him. He didn't seem to mind. I would of asked to do the same thing!! I like the way you made it very short and didn't try to interview him. That really was a once in a life time experiance. A video - if possible - was a must!! Thanks for posting!!

I told him I thought Archuleta would win and he said "you and me both". The picture we got with him was when we were all deplaning at LAX.
