@HektorCody I dont think you can get much money for a DS lite. the most ive seen is $30 for a trade-in program. if you sold your DS, i would recommend selling it to an individual, or on ebay. you would probably make more money that way. But as far as whether or not the 3DS is better than the DS, I would say definitely. unless you have gameboy games that you play on the DS, cuz the 3DS doesnt have a gameboy slot. But it's up to you, it might be worth it to keep. or not. the 3ds is worth it tho.

How do the AR cards work? Do they have some sort of special, digital, thingy built into the cards, or can you, for example, photocopy it onto another piece of paper and use it?

@zackery261 It's based on the image, and the 3DS simply recognizes it. So yes, you could photocopy the cards and the AR would still work.

I think I remember seeing a video of that, actually. Some Japanaese guys made a much larger version of the ? Block card, and then put it on a street. Standing on top of a building, the 3DS recognized it and a giant Mii appeared on their screen.

@BlazeArceus777 It comes with face raiders, which is a first person shooter (sort of lol) that uses the gyroscope. Also Ocarina of Time uses the Gyroscope for aiming your weapons like the sling shot in first person. So there are already some games that do that :D

I would say that the autostereoscopy would if you set the 3D slider to a very high setting right off the bat. Give your eyes time to adjust by starting out low and then slowly adjusting it higher as you eyes get used to it. That's what I'm going to do. This isn't bad for your eyes if you know how to use the technology.

I was born in 1985, and by the time I could remember I had a friend who had the Game Boy and a friend who had a Game Gear from Sega. My favorite was the Nintendo even though the Game Gear was technologically surperrior.

I agree completely with your statement. I think that the DS Lite I have is very nice because it plays like a graphically improved N64 (which I've always wanted but could never get) that I can carry around in my hand...while having two screens and a touch screen!!!

Why did you get the Japanese version? I understand getting it a few days early, but if you can only read what nintendo cannot spell in Japanese, then what is the point, especially if its region locked, which means you wont be able to read the text in any of the games and have to pay extra to import all the Japanese games
