The TV series are stupid.They just took names of the characters and have created complitely different story.Kahlan is not martial art specialist,and richard should not look like 14 yearls old boy.I hope terry got good money for this rape of his book.

@diorio83 Yes, the TV series is different than the book series, they changed quite a lot. That doesn't mean the TV series is stupid. If you didn't troll about, you would be able to appreciate the show as what it is, a fantasy adventure TV series that is targeted to entertain more than provoke thought. The characters created in the show are just as real and interesting as those in the books, they are just different. If you don't like it, stay away from the fan videos and don't troll them

@frozenheat90 I agree but i really think that had they changed the characters names and the name of the show it would have been alot better. Alot of us when we first heard about this show had high hopes thinking it would follow relatively close with the books. I myself was thinking yeah season 1 2 3 follow the books and book 4 a movie so on so forth. Hardly matters now. As far as naming it what they did and doing it the way they did its no wonder it only lasted 2 seasons which in itself shocks

Cara removed the neck peice and the bodice after the episode Broken when she went to see her sister. The Braid was removed at episode 1. Anyho I still prefer Kahlan anyday but thats cos Ive read the books.

@LittleSkyful Well in the books, Cara's character is quite a bit more playful, bt still dangerous&protective as all hell. Kahlan is namd an honorary Sister of the Agiel &so the two of them are much closer&Cara shows quite a bit more emotion,bt not in a way that detracts from her character at all. Kahlan herself isn't too much different in the books, the differences in her character are only really noticeable when compared to the differences in Richard's character (book Richard is WAY different)

And while they start out being really good they go downhill towards the end with the last few books being very average. His explanation of branching prophecies is boring, he starts to preach about his views of good and evil and right and wrong and the final ending is embarrassing, all the bad people are sent to another world/universe and everyone lives happily ever after,what a cop out.

Kahlan Amnell rocks, and so does Mistress Cara, and if the series wasn't well written, the characters were. Heaven knows there is enough fan fiction about the friction between Kahlan and Cara to propel us all to the next galaxy.

There is so much character depth here. Even the books had Cara/Kahlan seeking solace. I just love these two ladies, and Bridget Regan and Tabrett Bethell are so amazing. Tabrett Bethell is a little *more* than amazing, she's phenomenally gorgeous and made the show. Her fellow Bridget Regan could slay giants with one glance from her blue eyes.
