"perfectly tolerated now". As long as the merchandise is being sold, the companies can take abridged series as either free advertising or a cheap-ass form of pirating.

What about Blip video? Lanipator has already started posting some of his tuff on there and they don't seem to care too much for the copy rights. The only reason that your having your stuff being taken down is that google owns Youtube, and they have something to loose. So, try blip video, you might also make some money at it too
