  • 158- ended having the shell at end and cant do the single end crochet, and 166, had shell plus two chains left, (the slipknot, first loop you have before counting and the first loop you count as one)

  • Its a good video, but it would be nice if you showed the last part better when you end the first row and turning to the second. Its off camera to a point whete i dont know what it truely looks like or how you got there. Also i dont think the 8 increase from 150 for desired size is correct on blog. Attempted to do it and ended not having enough. :-/

  • How do i end the first row of shells and start the second row?

  • This part is the simple part. I also need help with the subsequent rows, like others have posted as well.

  • i got my crochet stick from 99 cents.. right now im doing ur scarf.. thnx for sharing how to do shell stitches..:)

  • thank you, i keep comming back to your tutorial, i know i will get it!

  • Hi

If you have time to reply, please may I know if you start with a row of chain stitches and if so how many please?

    Thanks.

  • yes I'd also like to know how to turn and do next row! Very easy instructions, thank you.

  • But how do I turn around and start the next row?

  • Thank you very much.

  • Thank you. I am right-handed and have no problem. You are an excellent instructor.

  • good work

  • This is great for a left handed crocheter. It's too complicated for someone who is right handed.

  • @Chase7years weird why you say that when technically what a left handed person can do, like eat comfortably with a spoon, a right handed person can do the same with their right hand

  • I can't see anything you are doing. You put your introduction words all over the video. Can't even see your face, let alone what you are doing with your hands.

  • @furtherbeyond click the cc button thats above and to the left of the number of video views to remove the words

  • that is very helpful if i'm only making one row....how do I do the 2nd row??

  • @jetetour - I agree, am stuck on second row, I presume a chain stitch and double?

  • good job

  • How do you do the next line please. Also If I want to make a blanket for a baby how many stitches would you recommend to start with?

    Thanks.
