  • Assassinating Franz Ferdinand: that's a paddlin'.

  • le début de la fin d'un monde...

  • I wish that everyone here could be silent in respect of Franz Ferdinand, the murdered heir to the throne. His Imperial Royal Highness would not have wanted to hear all of these racist comments at his funeral. He wanted everyone to get along, so they could live in peace and prosperity under Hapsburg rule.

  • There is one nation, and one nation alone, responsible for the slaughter of World War I. Serbia.

  • @AmersfoortTristan The murder of the Austrian heir alone did not result in WW1. Austria could have responded to it differently than it did, Germany could have refrained from aligning itself with it's Austrian "brothers", Russia could have refrained from aligning itself with its Serbian Slavic "brothers, and England could have chosen differently too. The bluster, strutting and posturing of some world leaders, and a general obsession with empire and ethnic identity were huge factors in making WW1

  • @AmersfoortTristan wrong! he was sentenced to death! from freemasons! the war was long planed in england, france and russia to destroy the industrialised germany!

  • @AmersfoortTristan We know that Serbian military intelligence was linked with the Black Hand terrorists who assassinated Franz Ferdinand - even though Serbs claimed they didn't know anything.

  • @AmersfoortTristan you gotta to be two dance a tango...

  • @AmersfoortTristan I agree that the execution of this murder was in the hands of the Serbian government at that time, predestined as they murdered their legitimate King and his wife a few years before Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife. However the French republican / Freemason (Grand Orient) involvement should not be forgotten, as the decision to do it was taken there.

  • @ziegle9876 Naturally. France also had a casus belli against Germany: wanting to rob her off the Elsaß-Lothringen.

  • @AmersfoortTristan Ya let's not forget the slaughtered of thousands of Bosniaks and Croats in the Bosnian War. Hell came from them when the U.S. warplanes blasted their targets in 1995. Serbs are just blind filthy Nazi pigs.

  • @AmersfoortTristan That's a truly moronic thing to say.

  • @AmersfoortTristan you forgot the bolsheviks/communists. serbia was merely their playground. as usual, where wealthy heirs travel, their henchmen always follow. that is the old story of communism. btw, the video is clearly a fake...

  • meant to say *their hinrichter* always follow.

  • @AmersfoortTristan but austria didnt have to start it! and not serbia killed franz ferdinand. it was an organistion called the black hand!!! you dont know anything about that so just shut up

  • @AmersfoortTristan At least they are a nation who always fought against occupiers. In this case they just killed an Occupier. Nothing more and nothing less. Well Done

    !

  • @Damber78 Don't forget balkan nations (except greeks and croats) were the last nomadic people of the European continent, where the vast majority of people remined shepherds.Balkan region is the shame of Europe.

  • @stears555 Your last sentence: is this a fact or your own opinion? Cause I share another opinion about the balkan. In the west they always say that ''We'' should forget the past. Well that is also what I would say when you know they concurred, murdered, slaughtered on large skales. Not to forget about slavery. Probably people from Africa are the last nomads (Forced). Maybe you should tak a look on the Balkans. Not everybody is a shepherd, They are Criminal too. Hahaha!!! Zivjela Balkan!!!

  • @AmersfoortTristan I disagree. I think it was Austria that has 100% responsibility for WW1. At first they annexed foreign national land, then they oppressed the subjects and didn't grant them political rights, on top they had security problems leading to the assassination, they made unrealistic demands from Serbia and put them under immense international pressure, they declared an unnecessary and futile war, and they did not plan and fight it well ultimately resulting in their defeat.

Um beide is kein Schad

  • I thought you are not so stupid. But I was wrong. For me it is the end of this stupid conversation with stupid people, like you.

  • Just look anthropology maps about average hair and eye color. Type in google image searcher: "hair color map" or type: "eye color map" serbians as other balkan peoples have darker average pigmentation. (brown monkey eye color and dark hair) Their average body stature is smaller too. They have semi-asian primitive orthodox "culture". The vast majority of serbians were shepherd nomads until the 17th century. That's why Hungarians call them gypsy nation.

  • thumbs up if wikipedia brought you here

  • @mcallentimothy it wasn't cracked for once

  • This video is taken in Trieste,, Austria-Hungary's main harbour city(now Italy) at the arrival of the bodies that were shipped from Dalmacija. The 'Rive' (=waterfront) are to be seen up to 1:29 of footage. They remain today virtually unchanged, each building still standing and easily recognisable for the tourist that wishes to take this precious video along in his visit.

  • @Strophal Thanks for the interesting information. Much appreciated.

  • This assasination basically precipitated WW1

  • @SLUGTHUG what I don't understand is how Germany, England and France got caught up in the war because of this.

  • @gotch09 A system of alliances that left no one room to do anything but sit back once mobilizations were begun set things in motion. A chance for revenge from previous wars kept war feelings from being checked.

  • @eeuplad Thanks.

  • he was removed from command, a choice that reportedly made him suicidal.

  • @JustFukOffNDie

Princip later claimed that the bullet that killed Sophie was meant for Potiorek. It is speculated that this "survivor's guilt" led Potiorek to take charge of the Austro-Hungarians fighting the Serbians. He was reportedly very zealous in his actions (multiple times he claimed "I was spared at Sarajevo so that I may die avenging it!") but was apparently an inept commander. After the textbook military disasters at the Battle of Cer and the Battle of Kolubara,

  • @JustFukOffNDie

Franz Ferdinand was hit in the neck and Sophie (who instinctively covered Franz's body with her own after the first shot) in the abdomen, and they both died before 11 a.m.

    from wiki

  • Es ist in sehr guter Qualität! Ruhe in Frieden Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand! Surely NOT, Austria-Hungary's 'time was over' as another commentator put it!

  • Do you really beleive that the assassination of this man was the truly reason of begining WW1?

It was the good reason for Austro- hungary to begin war against Serbia, to win and stop the Serbia in its fight to opposite austria.

But, many of the European countries wanted to stop Austria, because its time was over. It was 20 th century, the end of empires.

You know what was at the end...

    Greetings from Serbia.

  • A gradual change might have been preferable. Would a fascist-style gov't have evolved to counter the socialst movement?

  • @gorangeorg Do you think about the end of British or French colonial empire?

  • @celebration81 Almost certainly the collapse of the British and French empires was started by the economic conditions after WW1, which weakned the systems of both and stirred up new thinking. WW2 which was almost certainly th e direct result of versailles was the end of both, and come 1947, 1948 and 1956, britain at least began th realise its empire was going. Without WW1, the empires would not have crumbles so quickly, but wether ww1 would have happned without princip, who knows.

  • @jamiegoddard4 the legislative and law system of Britain & france didn't knew the minority rights before the 1930's. Britain was a multinational (Irish Scottish English) English suppressed their language and culture.

  • @celebration81 Admittedly i will admit that during the 19th century, celtic was illegal and england and wales were politcally amalgamated into "england". As to france i dont know so ill have to take your word. However i still think that the downfall of almost every empire, (explicit or implicit) was begun by the first world war. However i do believe that the pressure for reform and possibly deconstruction fo empire within austro hungary would have bubbled over into some kind of war over time.

  • It may not have been on the same scale as the world war as it may have been an internal civil war, we will never know.

  • @jamiegoddard4 believe me, Europe's largest cultural genocide was in France in the second half of 19th century.

  • @celebration81 not to forget the welsh

  • @summ4t And not Forget France. In 1867 France was also a multicultural country.Read the English wikipedia article "Language policy in France"It is a good article with a lot of references and book citations. Did you know that 50%of the population of France could speak the french language in 1867? 50% hadn't french identity.Battle of Sedan was its aftermatch, because the french conscription was unsuccessful. The law-history of France England Russia Italy didn't know the minority rights before ww1.

  • @jamiegoddard4 Only 50% of population of France was French in 1850. The local identities of these ethnic minorities were stronger than french identity in 1870 yet. These minority languages based on different grammar and words. They weren't closer to french than Italian or Spanish language. French nationalism and forced assimilation grew the ratio of French mother tongue and identity from 50% to 91% in 1900.Russian Empire was similarly multiethnic too.

  • @jamiegoddard4 Austria Hungary had minority laws with minority rights. t was the first in the world. Imagine state-financed minority schools, which weren in france and britain . French frankization was a real cultural genocide. Ironically they blamed Austria-Hungary about the minorities.... It was hypocrite, isn't it?

To nas i dan danas prati.

    Pozdrav

  • @gorangeorg

really happy to see kosova (finally) got its sovereignty

    same goes 4 montenegro

btw: thumbs up for ur school system (or intellectual abilities), hope in 30-40 years even serbians can participate in global world affairs,... no don't really think so

on the other hand your russian might be quite good,... no don't really think so

but at least you can be proud of world-moving serbian achievements and innovations,... no you already know what should follow

  • @summ4t

Are you using some drugs? Power leads world polytics. Now, power isn't in our side. That's all.

For few years, the region called Kosovo will not be on the map. Do you know why? Not about us. But because you will se what a fucking bastards are Albanians. They are sick of the Balkan.EU will see it very soon.

    Don't be stupid, my friend.

  • @gorangeorg in that point you're right, no doubt

    but

that's even more a reason not to bash austria, for it would have brought prosperity education and (catholic) order

now you only face the opposite of this comming towards you

too bad europe doesn't stand together

  • @gorangeorg Orthodox primitive semi-asian culture and countries are bastards.

  • @celebration81

OK...You wanted this primitivism...meybe we are primitive culture but we can be good fuckers, of your women. They dont get satisfaction from you and your small dicks. Because of that, they want some wild and dirty and like "primitive bastards" . At the end of all, the only stupid man is you- celebration81.

    Apologise for other people.

  • Triest, the Rive (Ufer). NOt very much changed since then. Excellent quality. Has it been restored? I never saw this clip so clear. Thank you very much for posting. Gota ny others?

  • To byl konec naší monarchie,škoda.

  • croatia morns you...damnd the serbs

  • @killahdock NO... DAMN THE BLACK HAND. DAMN ALL ANARCHISTS AND DAMNED BE ALL WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN SUCH AS THEM!!!

  • @killahdock you're generalising. the person who killed Ferdinand was part of a terrorist organization called "The Black Hand". You could only condemn the serbs if it had been a government-backed plan which it wasn't. Therefore, in conclusion, I find your comment unjust and discriminating and an insult, though I am not from any of the countries directly affected.
