Of course that's not true, in the US you can get a DUI/BUI in any vehicle, motorized or not, cars, boats, bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, golf carts, horses, rascals, segways etc. It's obvious that he was trying to scirt around the law by driving a vehicle he thought wouldn't apply. Although with a golf cart your more likely to hurt yourself. In y town college students try this alot on bikes.
