  • And P.S. to everyone, especially those who know the species, you will know bettas do have personalities and are unique. Some bettas prefer large spaces and zooming around, where others enjoy solitude. My King male loved the 20 gallon with his tank buddies, he thrived and lived up to 5 years. My halfmoon did not like it whatsoever, always hiding and jumping at every little thing. I put him back in his 1 gallon with a mini heater and air pump, and he is refined and thriving. They are different.

  • And happy to see the thermometer, very nice. ^^

  • That looks like a one gallon and he is fine. The water is clear and he is vibrant and the fins are extended. Looks incredibly healthy. Any betta other than the King male can live in one gallons, MINIMUM! I'm happy to see he does have more length then a stupid fish bowl. Well done to you and your beautiful betta.

  • hes so cute when hes hyper XD

  • He's so pretty. And a character, too :)

  • Damn these fish trank police are everywere these days

  • ur betta looks happy and its cool how u actually feed him real bloodworm maybe thats why its so pretty and happy Living the good life :)

  • @sothgunfil

The person does not need a bigger tank. They have a perfect size because betta fish do not need much room, but they do need room. that cage is perfect!

  • thats a hot betta and thats cool that he eat from what idk a toothpick but yeah atleast get a 1 1/2 gallon tank

  • men you will damage hes teeth or mouth with that stick

  • PRETTY i like all blue betas

  • Ich glaube ihm schmecken die Streichhölzer :D

  • pretty fish.

  • beautiful betta, def well cared for!!

  • wow, i wish the only pet store here in my place sell other types of bettas except veil tail .-.

  • He is beautiful! WOW!

  • It's so bloody fierce.

  • What a beautiful betta=]

  • This is the perfect size for a betta to live in. People in the west tend to keep bettas in a larger tank. Bettas are territorial fish and tend to stay still most of the time. They do not need much water either. If you put bettas in a very large tank, they become stupid. They lose their macho and won't fight. (not that u have to make him fight, its just less attractive to the female) They should be switched to larger tanks only when spawning. :)

  • @nigelkyaw lol, tell that to my betta who enjoys a 10 gallon tank and spends the whole day zooming around and foraging. Not that it even matter if a betta is aggressive or not, but he sure seemed aggressive to all the cherry shrimp he just ate, and when he flares at his reflection all the time. Not saying you have to go that big but you're really spouting a lot of silly misconceptions here.

  • you fsh is beautiful i have one that kinda looks like that

  • what the hell are you doing keeping it in such a small tank? shame on you!

  • beautiful

  • piękna ryba.

  • isn't the tank a little small for him like can't u fill the water some more?

  • nice betta

  • That is a beautiful betta :) But I think it needs a bigger tank. If it is still alive I've seen a 10 gallon tank for something around $23.

  • Wow, he's beautiful!

  • he is very pretty ;o)

  • A bigger tank would be nicer. They do need more room and warmer water contrary to what stores and other people recommend. They do best in 2.5 gallons or more of water with an ideal temperature of anywhere between 78-82 degrees Fahrenheit. They also like a lot of foliage and floating plants so long as they have easy access to the surface for air.

  • Beautiful fish.

  • Your fish is gorgeous. :)

  • where can i get those bloodworms or when can i get brime shrimps?

  • OMG YOUR FISH IS SO PRETTY!

  • Im so sad i was cleaning my betta fish tank and as soon as i oned the water to clean uts tank he jumped out of its cup and fell down the drain before i could stop it its all my fault i guess u luve and learn but he is alivin thing if i had obly closed the drain and put the lid on the container :( ill miss him his colours are beautiful

And two solid royal blue (m and f)

  • nice fish!

  • very pretty, a larger tank would be nice though

  • what kind of plant is that?

  • its probably plastic lol

  • my baby is red, but i really love the white ones. No one around here sells them, but when I have a little more money I'm going to look into getting a stark white half moon...

  • you should probebly get a biggerr tank

  • he doesnt need a bigger tank cuz they can live their whole life in a bottle n man i know about bettas in little space .....

  • @mithralova They don't need big tanks lol

  • Betta splendens in the wild live in huge rice paddies that can stretch for miles. Having a big tank will ensure your betta will have a long happy life. Cramming him into a small container isn't doing much good. The minimum tank size for a betta is 2.5 gallons. The tank should also be heated. Bettas will become stressed in cold environments. Their tanks should stay at a steady temp around 78-82 degrees.

  • @CrazyCritters7 they feel nicer in smaller tanks so they feel like the king of their domain

  • @ButlerScooterTeam09 are you retarded? dude, nothing against the guy who made the vid, but in the wild they live in frickin rice patties! a 10 gallon is best you could get, and 5 gallon is awesome, but thats because there tank mates are frickin neon tetras!!!

  • @CrazyCritters7 it looks fine. he does need a bigger tank, dont flip.a betta is pretty hardy, and it is best to do all those things you said. but it looks happy for now. and it will be a long living betta if he gets a bigger tank

  • @CrazyCritters7 I think that tank is better than a

    small fucking Cup!!!!

so Stop telling what to do! :)

  • That is one very beautiful Betta!

  • Aggresive betta! Lol... my bettas are always afraid of me, accept for my female which attacks me! Lol

  • he so pretty, and cute, just sitting there waiting for food ^.^

  • Hey wanna trade fishes?

I have a red, purplish and bluish fighting fish.

    ha ha ha,just kidding.

    beautiful fighting fish,anyway!

  • LOL i like how you point to the sinking bloodworm like your betta understands commands... that would actually be sweet.

  • did you teach him to jump and get the worm or does he just do that??

  • That's a beautiful fish but I agree he needs a bigger tank.

  • God hes so pretty D:

  • i betta likes his flakes way more than bloodworms ...weird...

  • dang nice betta ....i like how its white and the tail is blue!!!haha.......lol....

  • Wow. You have a pretty Betta Fish. I hope I get one like him someday. My Betta likes bloodworms too.

  • beautifull betta, though I think a slightly larger tank, with more stuff in it would make it happier.

It must be boring in such a tiny tank

  • do all betta`s get that big because im new to bettas do they all grow that big? how old is your fish?

  • really nice beeta fish yet i dont think that is the best tank suited for him

  • your betta's GORGEOUS!

  • Thats is one pretty fish

  • beautiful betta

  • its a he -.-" shes have shorter fins and SMEXI BETTA, im jealous... mine is turquoise with pinky purply fins, such a beauty.

  • Is that a marble delta?

  • she is so beautiful! :)

  • there is a betta exactly like this one in my local pet store. very beautiful. cant wait till the time comes to add my betta to my community tank... i love them, they are my favorite animals, not only cus they are beaitiful, but because each fish has his own personality. they are soooo cute! x chloe x

  • plz dont add ur betta to a tank that has any other fish it, bettas prefer to be on there own...

  • thhis is not true. they only dont get along with other males!! mine is now fine in my community tank. he likes the company and has made friends with my mollies. he always hangs around them!! x chloe x

  • where do u live because i am trying to find a female

  • If theres a petco anywhere around where u live they might have some. The petco i go to has millions!

  • Very very beautiful fish.

  • haahaa He's eating the worms like noodles :)))

Very pretty, and he looks happy too.

  • Very pretty Betta but he´s much happier with a bigger tank believe me, they also like plants ;)

  • ahh your betta is SUPER cute!!

  • yours is so cute

  • izit live blood worm or dead?

  • He's a gorgeous Betta but really needs a proper tank. Five gallons is a good size for a Betta and they need a heater to keep a steady temp of 80F. A larger cycled tank is a lot less maintainence than a tiny bowl like this.

  • how are they being retarded?

  • she were do u get blood worm from

  • He is gorgeous! but you might wanna get him a bigger tank. They are a lot more active and colorful when you give them space ;)

  • omg i love ur betta hes so beautiful:)can i have him?!?

  • Beautiful color and fins! He's eating bloodworms right?

  • wow..That's beautiful color there

    *

  • Love that color.

  • hi, how long can a betta live without a filter?

  • Betta's life is about 2year.

  • @shouxx99 more if it in a real healthy environment

  • @shouxx99 no 5 years ...

  • @shouxx99 no 4 to 5 if you get him in a great tank size. you need a bigger tank man go buy a 5 gallons and he will live 5 year easy.
