@ManaChains Thank you so much for the complement, really, I appreciate it. I used a big mixed bag of tricks to learn this piece. Firstly all of the arpeggios, or most, are from Hadyn's original composition, just played in different order. Secondly alot of it I learned form watching erniepimlott's Lestat Sonata, looking at his hands, and also picking out some notes by ear. Lastly, the ending, I just made up. His version and mine a very similar, and are not at all the same one played in the film

I had a woman in my beginning piano class who was in her late 60s. She excelled pass me because she kept at it until she finished all the classes!

That is always a tricky question. This piece is a variation of Hadyn's sonata 49, but for this version, there really is no sheet music that I know of, except perhaps in Tom Cruises house.

I would kill for the sheet music...the only kind I can find is the actual piece by Haydn, but not this version of it.

Thank you for all the positive feedback on this video. The truth is, there is no sheet music for this piece, or at least none I am aware of. I used the chords from Haydn's sonata, but played the rest by ear; the end from 2:20 I pretty much made up, thought it would be a nice way to end the piece. The best thing I can do for you guys is make a tutorial vid, but I am so busy with work and school, really though with a bit of patience anyone can learn by listening and just watching my hands.

I thought the part from IWTV where lestat comes back from the swamp n sits at the piano was so full of beauty and art. The way he hit that first note just when Luie and Claudia entered the room..... just perfect. I was compelled to play this piece, it took me a while, but I was able to without any sheet music other than the original haydyn sonata. Once again, thank you for all poitive comments and especially to those who added this vid as a favorite.
