Check out the Nova! One thing I try to avoid while running...doing the "pee-pee" dance while waiting for traffic. I doesn't really do any good, and you look silly.
"Run, Run, Run, Run, Run gordon! Its the policeman, we gotta get up out of this house, its the police man! Grab the bong, get my w**d, its the policeman! move your hol, keep running from the policeman!" ~ Abo Rap - In Da Club
As soon as Gordon got his morning run and went back inside his apartment building, I wonder whether he went back to sleep since all the other people, muppets, monsters, and everyone else who lives on Sesame Street were probably sleeping or, if he was getting ready to teach his science or history class (whichever one of the two classes he taught back then).
At 0:25, when Gordon says that he is always out of bed early to go running, I wonder if he would still go running if it was raining with thunder and lightening outside since a lot of people probably wouldn't want to go running when it's raining with thunder and lightening.
It sure is. Maybe the time might be 6:00 a.m. since the sun usually starts coming up around that time and Gordon said at 0:22 that he didn't know anyone else was up very early. I'm sure Gordon is in better shape that anyone else on Sesame Street since maybe he is the only one on Sesame Street who is interested in getting out of bed very early to run, and it looks like Gordon got a great workout before heading to either his history or science class that he teaches.
No, this isn' t episode 2980. In the beginning of episode 2980, Maria welcomed everyone to Sesame Street but here, Gordon welcomed everyone. (I read and noticed on Muppet Wiki that this wasn't episode 2980).
@RoseByAnyOtherName10 theyt had to. They prolly couldn't use the real tune because of copyright issues or some such but this is a great music piece too.
let me guess... seseme street couldn't get the rights to the actual song, so by changing a note here and there, they managed to avoid copyright infringment. am i right?

Anyone remember the film where he rode his bike Through NYC?
Originally it started out like this film where he asks if we's like to come with him though later the film was reused without that.
I liked it especialy with the music that went along with it.

He probably smells worse than Oscar :-)
Look at how junky those cars are. Definitely an old clip.
What do I tell my son if we ever go to New York City and he wants to see Sesame Street (like I did when I was 5 years old)?

Wow! I totally remember seeing this segment as a child, and it first introduced me to this piece. What season was this?

If he likes to run while others are asleep, he probably shouldn't TALK SO LOUD! :-)
FuryChord 2 years ago 4
That's an excellent point. Maybe the only one who wouldn't mind being woken up is Oscar The Grouch even if Gordon talked loud.

@Osteomorphis it's not a ripoff. More like a sendup or pastiche. Great music
