Thats and old school video. They have the chaos shields. Back then you could cast spells with the shield equiped which was very cool, but they took it out like anything else that was cool.
this is Czech, very old server, and it has own characters, and not everybody could have shield, such as mages and necromancers, but they allowed them althought it gave them no bonus, just the better look and symbol of Chaos or Order

Sphere PvP is some of the best PvP out of any game I've ever played. It takes a lot of skill and tact.
Anyway, there is a badass Sphere shard opening called Wasteland UO. Check out the website its opening soon. In beta right now but when it opens its goona be awesome for PvPers, hunters, & crafters!

damn I miss playing old school UO, i've played Defiance AND uogamers, both were okay, but nothing like the real thing in my opinion. You just can't beat the real old school UO...It'll never come back, and thats sad :( That game topped every game I have EVER played...WOW/GOW/DF all the shit i played forever, id still rather have old school UO back :(

Carebears killed WoW too, I miss the days of UO even AoS shards were great fun if you could find the perfect one without tram, and fel ruleset in every facet. But even in the last years once I tried to return to RunUO and a little hardcore ganking and looting kills a entire shard very fast. Its sad what this game has turned into. I hope SP is still alive.

no, playing in this server is free, this game is cool just because of good game system, i know graphics, sound and a lot of another stuff sucks in this game, but server has often meetings in real when meets a lot of players and drinks together, beggining revelationships, love, hate... because of which game you could see in real two guys fighting because one killed and looted another one? Stupid wow where when you die you loose nothing?
I remember PKing with my expert tamer on the ice island using polar bears. I'd shoot a magic arrow and when someone attacked me, I'd make 3 polar bears attack them at once. They'd still pay attention to me while the bears beat them down a little at a time. I'd finally stop running and attack with poison and fireballs. It was funny as fuck to kill ppl with Vas Flams, they're like WTF! :D
i play UO still after 9 f*cking years you may think, "Oh the graphics are crap" But thats not why UO is dieing. UO is dieing now because of EA. The old UO when Origin owned it was great and would kick WoWs a**hole anyday. UO was the first and greatest MMORPG EVER MADE. I dare you, DARE YOU, to prove me wrong. Everquest WoW guildwars all of them can never compare to what UO used to be.
all the people who say UO sucks because the graphics aren't the latest are probably the same people who use the "gameplay>graphics" argument when their favorite game gets trashed.
i once an ex pored someone but then they couldnt move and i felt bad so i killed them, and then more people showed up and they were upset and we cor pored eachother but then we felt really bad about it and decided to ended it with a hug even thought i got looted...oh well
