fact is the US airforce shot down 0 enemy planes at Pearl Harbour.

Japanese only lost planes to ground fire(AAA). (something like 10 planes?)

actually if you look in the history books in pearl harbor 29 japanese planes have been shot down and something like 5 mini subs (japanese) have been destroyed and! there where some Dogfighting OUTSIDE of pearl harbor when the "japs" were retreting. The P40 shot down 2 or more japanese planes.

No...the Japanese won several victories (Wake Island, etc) then after the Americans turned the tide of the war (which I think was at Midway) it was downhill for Japan.

@pokepoop Guadalcanal gave us morale, and was I guess the turning point, but yes Midway was more of it, in Midway we destroyed most of Japans Aircraft Carriers, later on Iwo Jima we gained easy routes to Japan for bombing, Okinawa was the final land battle of WWII, and after that we dropped the Atomic Bombs, ending the war.

yeah right 2 p-40 taking off and not one of hundreds of japanese zero shot them down and after they take off they shot everything in their path and not one enemy plane even that they are hundreds againt two beat them...that scene looks nice but is certainly just bullshit

A few planes did manage to get off the ground and two P-40's flown by Lt Taylor and Lt Welch from an aux. airstrip did manage to get several kills that day (about 3 or 4 kills for each I believe) which is somewhat similar to what happened in the movie though I don't think they flew over battleship row. The sailors were shooting at everything at that point and sadly shot down some planes from the nearby USS Enterprise which would've been spotted and sunk if a 3rd strike were launched.

yes but they took off from aux airstrips not in the middle of the combat there they would have been knock out even before they could take off and in no way a p-40 could outmanouver a zero like shown in the movie

Just watched yours and it was actually pretty good! The mood of the music matched the scenes very well. I like this one more though because..well...it's fast paced, lots and lots of action, and it's my favorite band playing too :). Yours was more dramatic but still great film! I gave you 4 stars :)
