I have owned a 1976 powerwagon w200, now a 1993 dodge cc 4wd cummins ... I am in the market to buy new, but I don't understand why simplicity cannot be integrated into this truck. Why can a powerwagon not be an ST model with manual windows, rubber loors, and vinyl seats?
I want a dodge that is like the real rams I've bought in the past ...

@ben5017 Mainly because very few people who buy new trucks want a base model vehicle. Trucks are no longer what they used to be. The power wagon, although not very simplistic, is one of the few purpose-built trucks still around.

@One3teen The options they cram into all of these trucks break and they love selling you replacement electronics and service at bloated costs. Immagine this, 100 dollars an hour is reasonable for a garage.
I would rather put 50k in an older truck than buy one of these with the Metro man options!
