I used to do this scalp massage thing till..I heard that hair massages on coarse hair types isnt beneficial. Simply covering your head with a shower cap, Provides more stimulation to the scalp as blood flow increases. The heat under the cap imitates a summer time environment. Helps your hairs growth.

I did a rollerset but I didn't do anything to the roots. That's why my hair is sooo big! I steamed the hair prior to setting which helped to make it supple. I'll be doing another video on steaming in the upcoming weeks.

i do have a question... do you think it'd be good if i massage my scalp with an oil. do you think it would rub off on the massager?

Hi MsHairGuru! Yes you can definitely use an oil when massaging. Try different types of oil and see which one works best for you.
