There’s another way and much faster that I’m trying to learn. Yeah, the 2 attack buttons and down are very useful, but when you press High Button and then the other 2 attack buttons, not the special, and hold forward you can dash ALOT faster. It’s kinda complicated though. Anyone got tips?
I've only messed with it a little, Wesker and a few others can do it but characters like Morrigan can't since she's actually goes upward during her dash, I'd have to look into it a bit more.
@darkhokage Anyone can dash on the ground, but some people can't cancel their dashes (wavedashing) though, like Dr Doom for example. When he dashes, he starts flying upwards as well.
You can also press two attack buttons to dash in the air to try and attempt overheads, crossups or just simply surprising your opponent with your sudden attacks.

How do you do it backwards? I find that far more challenging than wavedashing forward which is a breeze.
