Its not actually that weird. I'm a high school student right now, and my friend has lesbian parents and nobody makes fun of him for it. These days, most kids mind their own business and try to show a certain level of respect, even if it doesn't show all the time. But elementary school, on the other hand... haha.
I'm guessing you're from a pretty good sized high school with a lot of diversity. My high school had about 600 students total, and there is no way that a kid with homosexual parents wouldn't have been taunted for it, at least from the more bigoted students.

Lyndon is traditionally a male name, but everyone I meet likes it on her ( I don't know if they would tell me otherwise). If you just listen to him talk about the situation, he's a pretty normal guy with normal dreams & needs. Not the freak people make him out to be. The mother's birth name is Colleen Foster (David Foster's sister), but their family for some reason gave all the girls male nicknames & all the guys female nicknames. Must be an inside joke. She is Jaymes with a 'y'. Clay will be a great father as he has worked with kids all his life. Jaymes calls him "a natural caregiver, a perfect person."

Its not actually that weird. I'm a high school student right now, and my friend has lesbian parents and nobody makes fun of him for it. These days, most kids mind their own business and try to show a certain level of respect, even if it doesn't show all the time. But elementary school, on the other hand... haha.

I named my daughter Lyndon (conbination of her grandmonthers names - Linda & Donna). Lyndon is traditionally a male name, but everyone I meet likes it on her ( I don't know if they would tell me otherwise). It could be that, up here in Canada, Lyndon is not really a known name at all, except for the former US president (and I definately did not name her after him)
