If there is a shelf, why put things in a box?

Billions of people live in conditions of extreme poverty. A far less clean, spacious and full of light house will gave them a pleasant life. Putting things in boxes is their last problem.

@moonharp - The less organized the home, the more time spent cleaning. The messier the home, the greater time wasted looking for things. Wisdom arranges the necessities that more energy be spent on the finer things in life...like creativity. If creativity is desired, take up painting.

@th1smomentisfate - I know well the ways of the packrat. Raised in a home where you could eat off the floor, I find the neat person makes efficiency a priority. They are busy people with little time to spare. However, I know many like me, who can find an object based on visual memory. I also recognize the difference between neatness and disorganization is the lack of a plan for storage and a need to develop consistent habits. I clean 5X more than my neat mother. Darn entropy.

@1lolofred First of all, I'm not a maid. My job it Television and video production. And yes, Americans are messy and lazy, with the exception of a few like ME or course. I feels great to come to a home THAT CLEAN and my guests are as shocked as you wishing that their house looked like that. In my household, my wife and daughter have the same discipline.

On the side, I clean extremely valuable objects for special people who pays me a special service. Not to mention my liability insurance.

I also have an entire fridge filled with color co-ordinated blue & white brand new plastic storage containers that are completely devoid of any food stored in them at all.

No food...I prefer not to eat, I prefer just a feast for the eyes!
