Well I miss Mani as a baby too. He's quite a little monster now, hard to handle but I love him the same if not more. :)

@Anemos84 What do you mean by hard to handle is your bird biting much more than usual because it's older now or something please share the information with because I'm thinking about getting one?

@Mr291229 Every bird has its own character. Mani may bite sometimes but not too much unless he is very angry for some reason.

It's a female, not a he :p

It doesn't have the ring.. I'm not sure whether it's because it's young..

But if it's a male a ring will eventually grow, a black and red one :)

Well my friend in this video Mani is only 40 days old! So unless you can perform a DNA test through video I don't think you can tell the gender. The ring usually starts to appear around 17 months and Mani in now about 8 months old. Sometimes it takes up to 2 or even 3 years to be sure about the gender without a DNA test. I raised Mani as a HE. I may be wrong but I don't actually worry about it. Eventually I will find out. :)

my grandparents got a baby ringneck which was 2 weeks old and now its with me they gave it to us and it is now 8 years old

Louie was 3 mths when I got him & he bite all the time but I worked with him daily & it took 2 months to get him to stop. IRN's are smart & talking but can be bitey if not handles a lot. He is 1 yr now & you can see wonderful, loving & says about 50 words/phrases. He's really in love & so am I. It's my 1st bird, I would have never known how intelligent and amazing they are. I think Mani will be better. I was told at that 3-5 mths old they get that way to test us. Great fun wishes for you & Mani!

Again you are very kind! Mani bites me but not in an aggressive way. Not yet! I think he's trying everything like babies do. How did you work with yours to prevent him from "tasting" you? It's my first bird too and I think we 'll be great together! Louie is trully wonderful!!
