  • Does this thing have a fixed throttle? Sounds like he's only changing the rotor pitch

  • Comment removed

  • @ThermalOverload Exactly that, the rotor head rpm's stay constant and the pitch goes positive and negative.

  • @benjy468 hmm smart, keeps response time up, thanks!

  • Wow!

  • Rc flight clubs are wonderful!

  • This. Is. Incredible. Piloting.

  • omg it sounded like the asian guy said "ohh thats of mother fucker" hahaha

  • equip a "mini mini gun" on that fucker and your ready to raid

  • i saw this vid and tried to do that with my rc.... and well...that was was the last time i saw it fly :(

  • one screw up and that thing would have been a pile of crap faster than the pilot is thinking.

  • i think it is sad that you said dont try that at home KIDS ! i am 13 and i do 3d with my trex 450 pro , 600 cf, blade 400, novus cp and even a blade sr. the sad part is that you say you are a professional and my 3d is twice as good as yours, i am talking a piro roll with a novus cp 5 inches of the ground

  • @palauskas lets see vid!

  • Dutch language they are speaking. ;)

  • Is this Alan Szabo Jr.?

  • How much of the control logic is in the transmitter and chopper these days ?

Anyone who tried to hover and fly an ordinary chopper knows no human could master such acrobat moves without some kind of logic and gyro assistance. Of course this pilot is an ace in operating what he has at hand.

  • helicopter? more like a flying guillotine

  • Those blades are spinning fast enough to chop your arm off...Got Carbon Fiber?..soft as butter

  • Y not have kids try this? I'm a kid and I a'm for shure gonna pick one of these up from somewhere like TOYS "R" US and try this stuff out how much are they at places like TOYS "R" US?

  • @lamborghinicorvette lol they dont sell these at toysrus you have to get them at hobby shops they cost quite alot and need skills to fly them

  • @chiavernwei

You just got owned by sarcasm,

    check this kid's channel...

  • @chiavernwei lol hes kidding look at his channel he also flies 3d hahahahaha toy r us

  • @lamborghinicorvette don you fly 3d too? lol toys r us thats funny

  • @YourFriendlyMe Hey if subscribe and get cool 3d videos ad chck out my chanel

  • @lamborghinicorvette dont you remember me? im the areonautical engineer guy lol

  • @lamborghinicorvette youl need alot of practice and you cant do that as a kid its harder than you think

  • @XxstryaexX1 r u odd i'm almost one of the best in the world maybe you need to check out my channel.

  • @lamborghinicorvette well you are good but alot of kids go to toys r us and they will spend 300$ on a toy like this and break it in 3 hours

  • @XxstryaexX1 in 3 hours???? those kids might have some talent. Last noob i saw fly an advanced toy like this didnt last 3 seconds.

  • man its anti gravity !!

  • Extreme no, very good yes and smooth well done.

    Check out Stefan

    "simmons compass 3d plus"

    For fast d3 heli moves

  • Which helicopter is that ? T-Rex?

  • that is nice 3d , but its not extreme , still takes skill though...

  • that chopper is on CRACk. and the pilot. i have no idea what hes on to be able to do those stunts. well done.

  • Superb flying... this is probably the single most dificult thing to do in RC full stop. (unless of course you know someone that can control 3 planes at once and fly them in formation using his feet??)

  • look like dragon fly !!

  • What a crock of shite. I would have preferred to look at the damn thing flying like it was supposed to fly. A great exercisse in sea sickness

  • Ok. I am impressed with this....I am a long way from doing this.....you call it sloopy....just curious.....are you better and can you show your video of great precision flying?

  • lol i fly micro 400s ive seen better

  • BOOOORING

  • ooh i do love 3d flying..!

  • whats 3d even mean on these and whats the difference between 3ch and 4ch or w.e,,

  • 3D means stunts and tricks. Since the helicopter isn't flying around like how a real helicopter would, it is called 3D (ie. upside down, on it's tail, etc.) 3 ch (3 channels) means you have control over 3 of the helicopters axis- so you could go up/down, slide left/right, and spin left/right. 4 ch means you can control 4 of it's axis- up/down, slide left/right, spin left/right, and move forwards/back. Any more channels can be used to control extra functions (dropping a bomb, for example.)

  • Wat kost nou zo'n helicoptertje met benzine motertje ?

  • @21egbert21 minimaal 600-Maar dan ist geen goeie,ik zou om te beginnen een electrische kopen

  • Is this all freestyle? or do you have to complete a set of known stuff?

Because my heli just did some of that crazy shit - just before it hit the DECK...LOL

  • @tankertel agreed - it doesn't look graceful or organised or anything - I could probably do this if I moved the control sticks like I was having an epileptic fit....

  • @Corp0ralPunishment You wish.

  • Go Check OUt BOB LIBBY and his Trex700 -- NO that is NOT him playing here-- Bob Libby videos can be found here on Youtube!

  • Comment removed

  • This is definetly not extreme 3d, he is okay but nothing to exciting

  • Comment removed

  • that went in the clouds... well it looked like it

  • Do the blades reverse to make it fly inverted? If they do, they must be really strong.

  • they just angle the other side ^^

  • The pitch of the blade is adjusted to do that. Very cool, no?

  • no the angle of the blades is adjusted to reverse the airflow, the rotation direction is the same

  • metalstorm91291, They continue rotating in the same direction and generally at roughly the same speed. They change the pitch (angle of attack) to control how much lift and which direction the lift is in. The squash plate influences this to allow the lift to be uneven from around different areas of the circle that the blades roate. This means the blades are changing pitch very fast, but allows incredible control. hth.

  • It can be dangerous to the audiences in the surrounding area if the machine falls and dashes towards them accidentally.

  • it's awesome and i can't do that but i can't call this extreme 3d, i have seen much more better videos

  • This kind of flying is harder than full out 3D, but yes, it is not extreme 3D.

  • whos the pilot ?

  • its not R/C

thats my hamster taking that biatch out for a spin,he wears ickle goggles, flying suit and everything

  • @mrlowdangle its funny to imagine a hamster flying that heli around like that lol

  • houd je kanker bek met je oeh dat is een moi foto

  • how the f**k did you do thaT

  • almost looks like its being batted about on a tennis court with invisable rackets..lol

must put some strain on the rotor blades :D

  • wow that are mutch skills very nice done

  • that was awesome

  • can anyone tell me how to 3D? or is there any vids out there?

  • here is the best tip i have ever given. PRACTICE

  • Go out to your hobby shop and get Real Flight g4.5 and that will show you hands on.

  • Most impressive. Inverted autorotation landing from the cloud layer. Pure skill.

  • yea holly crap on that one

  • maybe so, but which one would you more likely be able to fly/own/have more fun with?

    :)

  • how exactly is this a "fake" helicopter

granted its not a real, as in full size helicopter, but it is for sure real.

  • its real but a toyid rather be flyin a hawk or sumthin

  • ur a realy good flyer u got skills that kills

  • I agree with SoooondreF Szabo is better, but that was pretty cool. What breed of RC Helicopter is it? it looks like a JR Vibe Fifty

    NZ

    -King Of The Skies-

  • these r like 1.3 metres long and they culd easily chop ure head off , i wounder if this is on 2.4ghz because i would laugh if he got a 35 meg transmiter and accidently got interference.

  • ya, rippin good laugh

  • your question is like asking god if he will create a perfect human that never dies........... o wait a minute, there is no god.

check out my channel for ungodly like videos

  • i went to watch tht

  • it's the best flight i ever seen.the man is perfect.obviusly he got the control!

  • lol im at this modelclub;

  • lol there belguim XD

  • I was most impressed with the pilot's inverted autorotation to a last second, right side up landing. Perfect control.

  • Is the pilot Alan Szabo ?

  • NO!!!!!!!!!!!

    Szabo is way better

  • hey dit zijn n ederlanders man, waar zitten jullie/>/??

  • Fiquei tonto!

  • Dumb question...in this context, what does 3D stand for?

  • 3 dimensional. In heli flying it is a term used to refer to more acrobatic flying style such as seen in this video.

  • ive seen better

  • Where?

  • just type rc helicopter in the search and its the first one thats where ive seen it

  • wow if i bought one i woudln't even bare to play with iot. Seeing ppl using it to do stunts... rofl

  • U have to flip a switch to put it into 3d flight, u can fly it basicly if the switch is of, its quite easy like that :)

  • these guys musthave mastered this stuff with sims before letting loose with the real thing.

i cant imagine how many broken heli's it would take if you only did it from scratch with the real thing.

  • Thanks guys

  • looks ok and watching the choppers fly on video is getting easy to track and the speed in slowing down that i can keep infront of it in my head.

    I miss flying my choppers...

seeing that flight a year after the accident and the the fact that I can watch the whole video without feeling sick tracking it. gives me hope that I am getting better... look the fuck out when i get back into it...

  • I have a 3D helicopter of my own. I have mastered the controls on it and gotten used to its power and stuff. I want to fly inverted but I am too scared to do so. I have flown on the model flight simulator and flown well inverted with a digital helicopter. Can anyone give me advice?

  • First of all, ignore that fuck... And secondly, dont be too afraid to try it (nothing some super glue and duct tape cant hold together)

  • KoopmanG

Try it at a little hight first, then you have time to save your heli if something goes wrong. You have to think "The worst thing that can happen is that i crash" and it's not so bad to crash. just a little fixing. You have to start at one point anyway!! Good luck

  • This guy flys very well! I like the snake, that's a good lookin move.

Great advice SoooondreF! You're right, learn everything in the sim, then head out and try it with a little height. If you fly heli's, crashing and fixing is a fun part of it. If you don't like fixing things, heli's aren't for you. Unless you're ok with paying hobby shops to do it, they do that for a lot of people actually, some people just like to fly!

Heli pilots have their mechanics too, they just fly.

  • COOL!!!

  • amazing

  • that's fuckin awesome

  • cadabbra- r u frickin kidding me? The whole point is to excite the audience, and by nearing crashes, it is only more exciting. And a bad flow? ITs rc, not a real helicopter, so why not take advantage of the agility and power? Get a sense of fun.

  • This pro isn't very pro-like in his flying though... it's pretty rough and has a bad flow. At times he even seemed to have lost control and it's not even windy. Anyways, MAD props to the flyer nonetheless what he does is still near PERFECT.

  • well said, i thought exactly the same

  • nice video, I've seen it sometimes before though..

  • the szabo bros must be shitting their pants!

  • at first i was thinking this was not real but i did look into it and a guy showed me his do this

  • Good god that guy is good! Looks like a bumble bee.

  • he must have been flying those things since he was a kid or atleast a decade or so.

  • props man that is hard to do. great video

  • looks funny.

  • That heli looks like it's on 'speed'

    hehe great flying skills :)

  • Fuel mixture dosen't look right it kida looks black but idk, mabye its the camera, but nice flying tho.

  • That could explain so many UFO sightings if there was a larger unmanned version of that produced by the military

  • That's an adorable toy

  • nice camera man

  • thats intense :P

  • wow wats it called

  • Don't get me wrong, this isn't bad flying, but I have been to IRCHA and the 3D masters and this isn't really advanced flying. This is more him showning off the heli than himself. This is certainly not Curtis at his best, but still impressive.

  • Simply incredible.

    nothing else to say.

  • Sorry; I don't get it. Why does someone want to create what *cannot* be created using the real-deal? If I had the aviation knowledge applied here, then I'd be creating something that *isn't* impossible in the real-deal rather than do this. Neg the comment as much as you like; but a skitty all-defying heli sorta defeats the object of it being a heli in the first place. :) ~F~

  • The simple answer is. "It's a lot of fun"

  • AKD: Sure, and it looks it; I certainly wouldn't say it isn't fun :)

  • Well you see these as miniature models of real helis but actually they aren't. Its a miniature radio controlled helicopter not a model if you see what i mean. kinda like drones.

  • FLuke: I see your point. One day I am gonna really have a go for this; but I think I better start off real slow ... LOL

  • have u consider ussing your piloting skills in paintball laying down paint on the enemie?

  • Lets weaponize it. A 9 mm cannon and use it against enemy forces in urban environments. Imagine the horror on the faces of the taliban when this thing shows up over their position. Can you say crap you pants?

  • damn, i think this is the best 3d i've seen, i like the last part, inverted autorotation

  • sodeju dat is flink vliegen

  • Godlike. I can fly like that... but not on purpose.

  • I just watched a video called the video named "Miracle in the DNA -presented in 3D environment" on youtube linked to v=6mQgMjsxGDo was really good at 3D environments. I dont know which technic was used exactly but it look awesome. The irradiation is made by digital fusion I think, must be seen.

  • Curtis Youngblood came 2nd in the 3D Masters 2007 in Northampton, United Kingdom. It was Awesome flying by him as he was using a Flybar Less heli :D

    THIS VIDEO IS NOT FAKE.

  • This can't be Curtis Y. He always wears his straw hat! =)

  • There IS a switch though (IDLE-UP), wich sets the "idle" of the engine to a higher setting, making the main rotor turn at a high fixed speed. This makes it possible to do snappy crisp moves and induce negative pitch on the rotorblades, so you can fly upside down.

The total cost of his setup, is probably in excess of $5000 (yes, more than five thousand dollars).

  • I've seen an RC heli for sale online it cost under $200 and they have a video demo of it flying upside down. Do you think it's bullshit?

  • It's most probably not bullshit, if the tape doesn't really look like it. If the helicopter is advanced enough, the small size only adds to the difficulty.

But, don't pay $200 and expect the helicopter to be able to pull off tricks like those being displayed here. I'd say it's doable, but hard to achieve.

  • it doesn't look as good as this but the heli in the video they have can fly inverted. Anyway I ordered a Picoo Z because I have no flying experience and don't want to spend too much before I get the hang of it.

  • Collective pitch is when the engine revs and the pitch of the rotorblades (the angle of witch they "cut" the air to provide lift) work together to provide the thrust to bring the helicopter airborne. This is NOT something you turn "on" or "off", it's always there.

  • The helicoter used is a "larger" size high-end helicopter. The rotor diameter is around or just below 1.5m (5ft) and it weighs around 3-5 kilos.

The engine used is probably a 0.9 cubic inch two stroke engine running on a mixture of methanol, nitromethane and a couple % of oil for lubrication.

  • Okay, so let me try and put soms facts here. Not that I am the mr. know-it-all, but I've flown 'copters and I've seen this vid way back...

First off, I am pretty sure this is Curtis Youngblood who's flying (google him). He's a world champion RC helicopter pilot.

  • F**k you, man! You're Tireless with your childish crying "fake, fake" There are championships of this out there. Lift your fat ass from computer and go to look!

  • cool but i think planes are better

  • Hahaha....very..very funny!

  • i want a rc heli i have tried 1 and i was ok but thats so amazing!!!!!

  • that was bloody good i am good at rc helecopters by not pro

  • Crazy heli !!!

  • nice man,

I wish I could have one..

hey, do you know were to buy does in store?

  • you put a nitro on it didn't you

  • spettacolo!

  • helicopter on crack....

  • Nederlanders? ja he? :P

  • I don't doubt that this is real. I'm amazed! I can barely hover my helo. I can't imagine how much practice it would take to do something like this. Awesome! Just...AWESOME!

  • For all of the retards that have never even layed eyses on a RC heli, They are very complex machines that use what is called collective pitch and radio computer mixing called ccpm. In other words the pitch of the main blades change from positve in normal flight to negative when it is up side down. And for the lame ass comment on flying backwards, ant helican fly backawards you dumbass. THis takes much skill and i admire this guy. Fake, no, THIS IS THE REALEST SHIT YOU WILL EVER SEE!

  • bullshit tags. I see no crash.

  • Really sweet... do you guys use sims to peactice? Real sweet!

  • i have it, i played it 3d and it fly and hit my roof,,aww... it hardly broke and have to repaired

  • ? its being played backwards in fast forward. Whoop dee f'n do.

  • CRAZYYYYYY!

  • cuz he felt like it i guess some pretty wicked flying

  • Why is it flying backwards?...

  • Good flying man nice helecopter too

  • top skill!

  • Always so many haters commenting on vids... this takes a massive amount of skill and practice. Even a straight and level hover takes a great deal of practice with these, (as a friend of mine found out who got tired of fixing his). Inverted auto rotation was a cool departure at the end of the display!

  • did you fly at ircha this year?...and to all the comments, if you are really interested and like how they look on youtube you should get to a funfly near home and check them out im sure someone will buddy box you

  • omg crazy stuff dude!

  • That was some crazy shit

  • Pardon pudding.

  • this person sucks
