This doesn't work. You can't unlock Akuma and Gouken like this. You need to do a few perfects and ultras to unlock them.

you first need to beat arcade mode with all characters except for akuma, gouken and seth.

I now have all characters and I've had the game less than a day. Gouken, Akuma and seth were unbelievably easy to aqcuire ._.

This should really come with a "Your results may vary' tag. This is hardly a sure fire method, as sometimes Seth will just focus attack/block your kicks and uppercut retaliate. One mistake and you find yourself in the teleport/throw trap till time is over.

yes you can....use some one that you are comfortable w/ at first, then lose to Seth on purpose, then pick that character that you want to bet the game w/ (Elfuerte) and it will count as a win

Are you guys making sure to set the difficulty to easiest? Of course it's not going to work if the enemies are set on a harder level. This works for me every time on easiest.

It never works for me. I have to do a combo of jump kicks and sweeping kicks, and have it to a 30second round.

The Hard kick spam just has never worked with Seth on Easiest for me. I've not even got him past 50% with it. :_:

...so ive been playing the game on hardest setting for no reason then. haha. fuckin seth and damn teleport. lol. anybody got tips on beating seth...AFTER THE FIRST ROUND when he is (at least for me) invincible. much appreciated.

Even though you use the kick technique over and over again, seth always does his combos which makes the hard kick useless against him.

i just gave this a try out of curiosity, it doesn't work as well as he leads you to believe. seth perfected me at least twice in the process.

Gouken: Unlock Akuma (Gouki), then play Arcade mode with any character, and get at least two "Perfects" and three "Ultra Finishes" to fight Gouken after defeating Seth. Defeat Gouken to unlock him.
