  • How wonderful would life be if the majority of people lived this way

  • Woa my antie lives at his old house we think and even has his writing table so we are going to keep it :)

  • simply amazing

  • Thank you very much.

  • @samuelgodfreygeorge One of my favorite poems. The reader's voice is wonderful. Professional reader?

  • a poem for our time! wordsworth has much to teach us in this and other of his poems. thanks for posting this clip.

  • You are most welcome. Thank you.

  • Well said.

  • It takes energy to think of all of humanity as our tribe, as a team working together of which we are merely one part.

It's hard to have faith that the billions of people we shall never meet share our goal of doing just a little less harm to others and and to nature and to ourselves.

But if we all have that faith, then that faith will be affirmed in our own, and in the natural world's, survival.

  • Well, I'm still moved by nature, dammit! Black branches against the golden red of the setting sun's afterglow. Like revolutionary fires just out of sight.

  • You are a man after Wordsworth's own heart. He'd wish that there were more like you. Thank you for that intense response.

  • [sigh]

  • this is very sad poem i think.

  • Not being moved by the unparalleled beauty of Nature is indeed sad.
