R: So, on the whole, were you pleased with your performance at these Olympics?
Y: Yes, I am.
R: I hope you will continue to work hard and earn more medals for China in the next Olympics. Final question, speaking of the future, what other dreams do you hope to fulfill later on?
Y: Huh? Other dreams? I've already competed at the Olympics! What other dreams could you wish for?
R: The audience were all very, very pleased with your performance on the bars, but they were a bit shocked at the score which seemed a bit low. It was around 16.6 something. Did you agree with the score you were given or did you also think it was a little lower than you deserved?
Y: No not really. I was a bit nervous and messed up some of the simpler moves, so there were quite a few mistakes.

R: Although this is your first Olympics, you have come away with a gold and two bronze medals. Are you satisfied with the outcome?
Y: Yes, I am.
R: Was this the result that you had expected or has it surpassed that?
Y: Of course, I wish I had got a silver medal so I had the complete trio of colours.

Yang Yilin is awesome!
In a 2007 feature, she seemed SO uncomfortable talking to the camera.
She was better in these Olympic interviews, and then she did a talk show with her teammates and was even more relaxed.
I don't think speaking on camera comes naturally to her like it does to some of her teammates, so it's great to see her gaining this confidence!
