The Russians never used the VZ-61. The VZ-61 was manufactured in the Czech Republic or formaly know as Czechoslovakia. More of a Eastern Block type them player then a Russian type.

@cesfilms It's running off of a 7.2 volt and uses a very small gearbox. For an AEP this thing is far from being a bad gun, also airsoft is not all about "fps" what matters is that your gun is precise enough to hit the target. This isn't paintball your goal is not to give the other players welts. Anyways look at Tokyo Marui they are the basis for chinese clones but none of their guns exceed 300 fps but they are still some of the best quality airsoft guns on the market.

my hfc glock 17 got 300 fps and 0.12 g i reccomend that instead of this no offence this is a awesome weapon i got it myself but if u wan't a starting pistol get the hfc glock 17 gas blowback (great choice)

When they were talking about the aks74u in the spetsnaz vs IRA they showed an akms and called it an ak47 carbine... all were wrong, The Russians don't use nor have ever used the vz61, Czechoslovakia was not even a part of the soviet union.
