I have watched DL hughley for years from the first time that he performed and hosted the comic view in 92. First time that I ever heard him say a black president in office and was serious
Black comedians will never again be able to make the common joke among them that if a black man were nominated president white people would say they would vote for him but once they got in the voting booth they'd vote for the other guy. As the fact is without many white people voting for Barack such as myself he could not of won this election.
that's all the more reason for white people and black people and all people should come together WE DID IT TOGETHER!!!! WE NEED TO CAST OUT ALL THE HATE MONGERERS AND RACISTS TO MAKE THIS COUNTRY THE BEST IT CAN BE
I really hope D.L. Hugley, Chris Rock, and other African-American comedians don't cultivate racial stereotypes that would diminish the Office of the President.
They should keep in mind, that the world is watching and this could wind up being a one time deal, especially if President Obama is not given the proper respect due him.
This man has taken us HIGHER. I left lifted off the ground! I was just speakless, I saw the CNN projection with his face and his name "Barak Obama 44th President-Elect" and I just stood there trying to understand if it was real or not! But than I saw Times Square looking like New Years Eve and Grant Park and that's when I snapped out of it and lost it all! I wanted that moment to last FOREVER!
Damn Obongos.
