i have 1 question. where does the protien come from if all your eating is fruits and veggies. this question is coming from someone who does suffer with mucus problems. i love this idea and am currently trying it as we speak due to sinusitis. but i need my protein! im so hungry! ;)
@Brandonian3030 You wont need so much protein as you think, 2.5% of total calories is the requirement of protein. I suggest eating plenty of fruit if you want to avoid mucus, eat bananas and dates, they are the staple foods of the fruit bat. :)
Soy is mucus forming, great point, it is thought to be healthy by many, but lets face it, it forms mucus! Its probably still better than meat and dairy, but not optimal, thanks nice vid.
I eat raw (soaked) grains. But it is true that we don't need much of it. 3 spoons are enough for a day according to the German doctor Max Otto Bruker. He said grains contain many important vitamines and minerals and most of all vegetable proteins. He dedicated his life to the study of raw food and health and became famous because of the success he had in treating the diseases of his patients.
It wasn't until I watched this video that I realise how much I hate the word 'mucus'. I don't ever think I've heard 'mucus' said so much in such a short space of time.
Isnt mucus a vital protection mechanism for environmental toxins since it is there for junk to stick to before it has a chance to enter the ears, nose, and lungs? This is going against everything ive heard. How can lungs function without mucus? Isnt mucus function to keep the lungs moist and supple? Your telling me you cant do that hawk up a loogie thing ? sounds alien...
Mike. I wanted to go back and see some of your previously posted videos. I am learning a lot. I have been a vegetarian for years but included dairy, grains, etc. Even my so called Vegan effort was bad. I just didn't see it. Now that I am raw, mucous is leaving by any means possible. I just had a snack; a frozen dessert made with some almond milk, a frozen banana and frozen fresh pineapple. What do you think of eating almonds? I do feel better without them. Any nuts and seeds? Thanks.
Nice video! I''ve practiced Ehret's Mucusless Diet for almost 10 years and know people who have practiced it over 30 years. Check out a video of a 30 year practitioner of Arnold Ehret's Mucusless Diet talking about his lifestyle and 9 1/2 Month fasts.
@NvrTuLate Can't be both ways. If all mucus dries up on this diet then it ALL has to dry up. If he is claiming that he isn't experiencing any histamine related inflammation? Me either and I eat yogurt everyday and quite a lot of meat broth, liver, offal and meat so....
@MichaelnChristine There are two fluids in the body. Blood and Lymph. Both contribute to a lot of functions. Lymph bathes every part of the body that blood does not. It creates ear wax, semen, vaginal fluids, snot etc. When it goes into fight mode, it overcreates those very things in order to carry off the invader things like germs, and metobolic waste, thus creating excess mucous. It is not right to say we create NO mucous, but I do understand the excess mucous is gone, You know that!!! :-)
@NvrTuLate The name of the video is "No More Mucus"...my comment stands. Also, meat isn't linked to histamine reactions, however grains are. See: Leaky Gut. So I would say the fruitarians have it it right when they say getting rid of grains will help people, sadly they blame meat for what grains are causing.
@NvrTuLate Yes...I believe in science and reality, not moralistic dogma. No peer reviewed study shows a benefit to fruit-only diets. Also, my person experience with veganism (which I DID RIGHT) was not positive.
I've had severe phlegm problem for 15 years - it's embarrassing. Often whilst on my way to work, I have to get off the train/bus to clear my throat. its worse during winter time. No remedy seems to work. Tried Honey & hot water, amoxicillin, special herbal ingredients etc but difference.
hey hey! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (just google it)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker lost crazy amounts of weight with it.
I've practiced Arnold Ehret's Mucusless Diet Healing System for 9 years and know someone who has for over 30 years. I lost 100 pounds in 6 months and cured many ailments. We're musicians and have created a band called the Breathairean Ensemble. Check us out! Nice point about the soy and grains! Certainly creates mucus-forming!
hello attitude attenuation, phlegm's unmanifested by grub but if phase internal dryin elicitin alter. grasses tiny seeds tender raw @ stalk by mark 2:23-25 denoting small scale plausible. improvement momentum, can pervade toughened exterior soaked thru seethes. fruit's already agitatin nicely if gotten ripe or against if w/ starchy banana seg. dairy's update to weaned lactase lactobacilus etc as wild kefir keeps 'feels good' tho not my choice extra caution hg mix so plant ferment moves minerals~
@1q2w3e4r5t6yusername: Good observation. I do think many lives have been saved and many cultures sustained by a diet of whole grains (case in point, John McDougall's program reversing coronary heart disease and arresting cancer development in most patients) however it still seems, from what I've uncovered anyway, that grains are not the ideal food for humans. As Michael said, they're more suited to birds and similar species. (Btw, horses shouldn't eat grains either, ... grass rather.)
I stopped eating gluten and after a week or so, no more dizzy spells and no more stuffy noses. Muscle soreness even went away. Once in a while, I eat quinoa and have no bad reaction. I am thinking about cutting way back on the kiefer and raw milk, and fetta but that would be like giving up sunshine at this point in my life :).
@99millahtime, Omg ya..I always noticed how one friend who ate a TON of french fries had so much mucus and access sticky saliva ..kinda weird when he talked. good guy tho :P
great video i amm asian my diet is based on comsuning rice 24/7 all day every life now i have seen this i will stop eatice rice and syart eating fruits n watermelon. whats do you think of canned goods to campbells soups to canned fruits?
Dairy, white flour, white sugar, meat, grains are really killerfoods and dairy the most mucus forming "food". That is so right, my friend! Good video! Hoping you will reach a lot of people with that. I read often Prof. Arnold Ehret, who wrote The mucusless diet Healing System. Do you know it Martin? Have a look once at my video of Paul C. @creekwalka I am asian, and I can definately say that eating rice don't make you fat because asian don't eat a large amount diary products and they do eat a lot of veggies with every meal. But now if you are talking about being healthy thats another story. I know tons of asians that complain about joint pains and headaches, high blood pressure, like my mother, my aunt, uncles, newphews, friends. Asians are leaner but they are not really that healthy in my opinion.
@jetsung89 I think they would be healthier if they didn't eat the grains and the other stuff. Michael has not gotten even a small cold for 3 years now since he went fruitarian..He used to get a virus all of the time when he ate a cooked vegan diet. I am going to do this fruit diet..it is the answer to a lot of health problems even arthritis.
@vicky2c I 100% agree with you right there vicky. I am transitioning to 80 10 10 currently and do pretty well most days, but falls off the wagon about once or twice a week and eat some grains. I had millets 3 days ago, and the next morning I felt my joint getting all stiff. And I went back on all raw for 2 days, and then ate some rice 1 hr ago, and now my nostrils all stuffed up. Millet, rice, grains are definitely bird food, not made for humans. how r u doing with 80 10 10?
@jetsung89 Yeah, I am like you with the grains and they seem to have a numbing effect on the brain chemistry and a feeling a satiation which is comforting..which is why it is my last addiction to kick..that and oil and salt seem to dance in my brain when I get cravings. I need to stop this insanity and stop focusing on the foods as glorious. I need to just get off the addiction roller coaster. Easier said than done, but it can actually be done. I am working on it to one day have it not be work!
@1q2w3e4r5t6yusernam many people are allergic to whole wheat without knowing it. wheat causes seasonal allergies, it is one of the reason why so many suffer during spring time, I don't eat that stuff anymore and like mike almost has no mucus.
the truth.
