@nakedvolleyball You are by far and away one of the biggest retards on YouTube. You obviously don't own a Mac of any kind, you are just another dumb hater. Funny how you never really answer anything, just mock or change the subject, that's a sign of someone who has no intelligence. Reply if you want, but don't expect another reply from me, you obviously get off on this.
lol ! i have a PC but i wont to get a mac coz my pc is always breaking and i like to be creative on computers and aprently the mac is better if your creative ! but ive have a pc for 12 years and im used to them but i dont now how to use macs ! lol i suppose i would just get used to it !
As a user of both, the upgrade argument has gotten so old. Only people who need constant upgrades are gamers, end of story. Only exception is new technology (like 1080p editing) once and a while. My pc desktop is 2 years old, my mac is also 2 years old and both handle my development, graphics, and coding.
For games, I bought my xbox 360... I got it 4 years ago and don't have to worry about choppy games, playing with graphics, or upgrade parts to play a new one.
@magickoopa24 Yeah, do you prefer your computer to freeze on a DVD with a spec of dust on it (mac), or do you prefer it to be able to play almost any DVD regardless of condition (win)?
Sorry but its true. I used windows for over 20 years and Mac makes better hardware with better software, and the whole price argument is pretty weak. You end up spending so much money trying to keep a windows PC running.
All the windows people who comment that "Mac Sucks" are just jealous fanboys. I don't think windows sucks, but I do know that Leopard is a faster and more stable OS.
@lukewind30 Saying as how Mac uses the same hardware if not, outdated hardware since they only upgrade their computers once a year I don't really understand how their hardware is better. As for keeping my old PC running.. I did put in a new graphics card about 2 years later for 200 dollars and in it's later years later for 200 dollars and in it's later years the specs were about the same as a Mac's. I never once blue screened. I recently spent another 1800 for a new PC so it isn't about price.
@lukewind30 It's more about getting what you paid for. If you want to spend 400 dollars on 4 gigs of ram or 1000 for a 27" monitor be my guest, but I'm going to spend 150 dollars for 6 gigs and 300 for a 28" monitor. As for operating system I do like how simple the Mac OS is. My roommate was a hardcore apple guy so I got to mess around with his macbook pro and stuff.
@lukewind30 I guess if you really feel like you have to have that OS then go with Mac but since I'd rather have more options in terms of games and overall programs I chose Windows like the other 90% of the world.Once Mac becomes a larger portion of the market though they're going to have the same problems. It's like when they tried to prevent people from jailbreaking their iphones, people always found a way to get around it because there was a large enough demand for it from hackers.
@lukewind30 Once apple computers become a worthy target, people will go after them too. Of course apple comps have great aesthetics and are supposedly good at media editing but I can't even remember the last time I even made a video or edited my photos. Games are more of my thing so I need the raw power that my custom PC gives at a lower price.
@lukewind30If you know what you're doing and need the power to run high end games/programs make your own custom PC because chances are if you can do that, you won't screw it up. If you're primarily editing videos/photos and doing basic tasks such as word and surfing the web and don't mind paying the premium for a great looking computer go with Mac.
@azyndragon89 Editing videos and photos? No way, not with a mac. It freezes all the time. Only thing it's actually good for is skype and email. I do all my real work on my PC, because it NEVER chokes on a photo or a video...unlike my two month old mac, which seemingly must crash ten times a day.
@lukewind30 Anddd as you can tell I put a lot of thought into this. Lol. While I'm at it, it's just frustrating when people go around bashing Windows and saying it blue screens all day when I've seen never ending beach balls. For the record, my roommate's macbook pro's motherboard died and ended up getting a new netbook and gaming rig for roughly the same price as a new macbook pro :P.
Mac's use cheap as shit and unreliable Foxconn parts. Not only is the company socially inept, overworking its underpaid workers, even to the point of suicide, but their whole product system is absolutely shit. The mac's use of aliminium for cases basically ignores all thermodynamic properties, causing the case of the unibody based laptops to heat to the point of causing second degree burns when in contact with skin. In short, the hardware is shit.
@Il0veToFU You are so full of crap that its funny. Foxconn makes parts for almost every single major computer manufacturer. Even PC magazine rates the Macbooks as the highest quality laptops on the market. You are so dumb and uninformed it is funny, I bet you have never even touched a Mac before. What a loser!!!!
@lukewind30 You're truly full of shit. I've used both since win 3.1, and if you have to spend a lot to keep it running, it's not because you don't know how to keep it running, it's because you are utterly retarded. With Mac, if it actually runs, you're lucky...that's since OS X. OS 9, and earlier, was actually good.
Mac's suck. they try too hard to please the user. this stops them from reaching their full potential. also upgrading parts on macs is nearly impossible and not worth it anyway seeing as they make their programs to work well with the parts given and don't plan on allowing for upgrades.
My schools have apple mac now. Our library monitor says the software called eclips(Which keeps the records of books, and students who borrowed a book) will not work on mac. She doesn't even know what to do. Our headteacher spent £150000 for all of these apple mac computers.
Blue screen doesn't nessisarly meen something is fatally wrong all the time. Windows has just accured an error and cannot continue operating. Just meens something went wrong, windows doesn't know what went wrong, so it shut down just incase whatever went wrong would destroy the operating system. Really BSods are lifesavers. But if you continue to get Bsods contact a Windows professional, or try to troubleshoot yourself
Meh, I think there are points that are wrong, especially Macs. For one, Macs don't get beach ball as the final method of death, it's the GSOD (Grey screen of death)
Another point which he made which seemed vague regarding the mice on Macs. Apple's single mouse button can be configured to do up to 4 buttons. Also, 3rd party mice works just as well on the Macs as they do on PCs.
this is stupid
