  • @schlockhausen

Thanks for posting the lyrics to the song!

  • Deborah Harry I'm aiming at you

You got your raygun and I got mine too

I'm gonna stun you with my transgalactic lasers

I'm gonna blast you with CONTROLLED VECTOR PHASERS

    Well, here we go again

She's a small mobile intelligent unit

Got what it takes and she knows how to use it

Bankers and agents can't find her door exactly

Men try to kiss her and get no reaction

  • Baby is AC/DC, Baby is AC/DC Baby is AC/DC, she tries to make a myth out of me It's so confusing for me Debbie's complexion is shielded by x-rays Switch off her sex gun she can't sleep for days Holy subtraction, I'm losing control now Switch off the lights babe, and let's have a row She goes to the bathroom—that's no place for me She goes to the bedroom—that's no place for me Tell her that I love her—she says she loves me Tells me that she reads about democracy
  • Deborah Harry I'm having your baby

Help me to live in a life without slavery

Help me to squander my love indirectly, honey

Help me to live in a world without money

Help me live with your small imperfections, honey

She's a small mobile intelligent unit

Got what it takes and she knows how to use it

Bankers and agents can't find her door exactly

Men try to kiss her and get no reaction

  • others i've been able to recall:

debbie's complexion is shielded by x-rays

switch off her sex gun she can't sleep for days

holy subtraction i'm losing control now

switch off the lights baby, let's have a row

deborah harry, i'm aiming at you

you've got your ray gun and i've got mine too

i'm gonna stun you with my transgalactic laser

i'm gonna blast you with my vector-control phaser

  • i played drums with family fodder when they reunited in 1999; i was 21 years old at the time, had been a huge fan for years, and felt fortunate beyond words. sadly, undiagnosed MS took hold and crippled my playing. but i love them and know some words. the first verse (all that'll fit; i'll do more soon):

she's a small mobile intelligent unit

got what it takes and she knows how to use it

planets and places don't mean nothing to her

muggers and miners are waiting to use her

  • @mollyandbenb Wow, that's awesome dude, sorry to hear about the disease.

  • Who the hell is disliking this? How dare you!

  • I had only heard the first 20 or so seconds of this song on my tape from a John Peel show years ago. Loved the taster then, love the whole song even more now. This is fantastic music whatever the era, the vocals are delicious. A classic.

  • The photograph of Thompson Twins (with the fabulous Alannah Currie) is from 1985 not from 1977.

  • @Iceblooo

The dates in the INFO only refer to when each act started. Thanks for being vigilant though!

  • I read this wrong. I thought the song was "Family Fodder" by Debrah Harry. I was thinking that Debrah's solo stuff sounded way different than her work with Blondie. I was surprised by her vocals too. But then realized this wasn't her. Sounds cool as shit. Love Kim Wilde. Should have posted a few more pics of her but it's cool.

  • Btw, this is actually a tribute to Debbie Harry. Apparently the singer for Family Fodder was really into her. This band also did a cover Blondie's song, Sunday Girl. The singer has a heavy french accent, so it's difficult to understand. I couldn't even find the lyrics. If someone could find the lyrics I may like it better, but it's interesting.

  • Haha, fantastic! I love her french accent. :3

  • Anyone's got lyrics for this song? Can't find it anywhere!

  • Alannah Currie!

  • i agree with philipriley s comment, what a discerning ear he has,deb harry might not have the vocal range as this girl,or cant hold notes like this,or have a rich velvet tone to her voice as this one in a million talented gem,but deb harry is soooo much better looking,so buy her cds.

  • This is better than any Blondie song I've ever heard.

  • yes i agree. this is awesome!

  • Not so sure about this song being better than any other Blondie song. Blondie in their first 2 albums alone had even quirkier and more experimental songs than this one. Of course this song and band are very obscure so the song sounds fresh compared to over played Blondie songs but it doesn't mean it's better than all blondie songs.
