  • do some research ull see why!.. can u prove me wrong??

  • THESE BLOODY UGLY BITCH IS A MEMBER OF THE BILDERBERG GROUP, SHE ONLY MAKES THE INTEREST OF THE BIG BANKS, SHE'S RESPONSIBLE OF THE GREEK CRISE, SHE SHOULD BE PROSECUTED TO DEATH PENALTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NAZI IS NOT OVER WITH WORLD WAR II. ANGELA MERKEL AND THE REST OF GERMANS ARE JUST THE DEMONSTRATION.

  • Keep clapping so they will keep buying our bonds and finance us !!

  • Longest applause ever

  • she look just like her father Hitler!!.

  • @MrJpiff717 why would you say such a thing

  • I am doing this speech in school. Thank you for posting it!

  • its a discrace for germany for german head of state to go to murderers to talk. shame on you merkel!!!!

  • @ymeri78 well, it's actually an honour for a German to speak in front of the U.S. Congress after what the US of A did for us after 2nd World War. The U.S. helped to build a democratic, wealthy Germany despite the fact that our ancestors supported the Nazi regime and served as soldiers for Hitler.

  • @ymeri78 Murders? You mean like the Nazis... dumb ass.

  • @Oleh2011 more like rather recent murders

  • @Meskiagkasher Oh! Like the German Soldiers in Afghanistan...

look all countries are guilty of war, Being German you guys should keep your mouth shut since you committed biggest crime in World History. American Troops are still in your country for a reason...to keep an eye on you bastards.

  • @Oleh2011 I committed no crimes at all and as I said WW2 was a long time ago and nobody cares today. It is present crimes that count. US troops are in Germany today only because of NATO.

When since WW2 has the US ever not been at war? Americans are a violent society and they like conflict, that's why 1% of the US population is in prison. Americans are generally uneducated and uncivilized, but greedy and hedonistic. They are now where Europeans were 100 years ago. Grow the fuck up.

  • @Meskiagkasher 1% of our population is in prison because we have stricter laws than liberal Europe, ex: '3 strikes law' in USA if you go to Jail twice, & then you steal a candy bar you go to Jail for life! I'm not joking... this is why the prison population keeps growing. It's tough but if you think about it makes sense, if you went to Jail 2x's & then steal again they proved they can't be rehabilitated.

& Yes Americans are usually at war, but other countries always fight with us like Germany.

  • @Meskiagkasher I'm really sick that ppl think we are the only one's with an army, there are like at least 10 different Foreign troops in Afghanistan & Britain was in Iraq too! Not only America is the problem. & You say you(personal)committed no crimes. I'm not stupid I know that, but then you say America is violent society as if we are personally responsible for killing ppl in Iraq or w.e. Does that make sense? It makes as much sense as blaming you personally for the holocaust.

  • @Oleh2011 Well not really. The Holocaust didn't happen while he was alive. I hold every American and all other countries involved responsible. But mainly America because it was US that instigated the whole matter. Everything the US claimed was a lie.

  • @dadgadable the u.s. started wwII? ... The U.S. was the last one to declare war, Germany Invaded Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland etc. so how is that 'mainly' the U.S. fault? ur crazy...

  • @Oleh2011 haha ! No I meant Iraq. And I meant to say that you couldn't hold him (u2ber) accountable for the Holocaust because it happen outside of his life-time. But the Iraq is of our generation.

  • @Oleh2011 Sorry btw,. very poorly written by me

  • @Oleh2011 Current Americans elected G W Bush *TWICE*. And that wasn't 80 ago. Bush had planned for the Iraq war long before 9/11. So don't give me any shit that Americans are not to blame.

Griechenland RAUS

  • Germany is a now the leader of the EU!

    Thank you Merkel

  • look at all of our congress clapping like a bunch of fucking seals. That's pretty much what they're paid to do these days......

  • She cant stand natanyahoo....hes a Liar

  • @HoliTaliban

He is a fucking jewish liar!!

  • Look at the smirk on Pelosi's face thinking, "I'm helping to ruin this once great country."

  • The Zionist filth Pelosi is shaking in her boots, hahaha.

  • clap much?

  • she's got a nice english voice! :)

  • fat old hag...still fuckable tho...

  • Germans: Wake up and don't take the lifestyle you have for granted. Frau Merkel is out to flush the euros your parents and you have earned through hard work down the toilet of bailing out the 5 trillion euros debt mountain held by Italy. Spain, Greece, Portugal and Belgium!

  • Fuck the european union - Glory in the Commonwealth of the Southern Countries.

  • Why's everyone cheering? :D ''whoooeeeeee''

  • Angolf Hitkel

  • Merkel should be sent to the Hague for her genocidal crimes against European Christendom. I think it is fair to demand the death penalty although such a sentence could be reduced to life in prison (no bail!) if she repents! With the help of her good friends Sarkozy, Cameron, Berlusconi, and other traitors she i systematically destroying Europe plunging it to more poverty and despair whilst allowing millions of 3rd world garbage immigrants to enter and turn it into the nightmare it is becoming

  • @politicaltourist: Wow - you are totally insane! You should visit a psychiatrist - really!

  • @reklamedamereloaded Do I need a psychiatrist or do 45 million German voters who continuously pay high taxes so Merkel and her cronies in the Europaische Union Scheisse can flush this money down the toilet of bailouts. The even more insane thing is that Germans pay these taxes and see their standard of living drop every year but they are told it is a necessary sacrifice because a low Euro is good for German exports! I am quite sane and the proof is I never paid tax in Germany and never will!

  • @politicaltourist

    You're wrong.

Actually it is much cheaper for Germany to pay a trillion Euros for bailouts than to let the Euro-zone collapse.

The German economy/exports benefit enormoulsy from the Euro-currency, and that's why the German government understandably tries to save it at all costs.

  • @Lintflas A Trillion Euros translates into 12,400 Euros per every man, woman and child in Germany and more importantly 26,000 Euros per tax payer. Does that sound "cheap" to you? What an insane and ludicrous idea you have been brainwashed to believe in. Would German Exports be hurt by returning to the D Mark and being able to set up interest rates and a sound banking system instead of a Euro Currency that is full of bankrupt, corrupt non-economies? I N S A N E

  • @politicaltourist

Of course it is insane, but it is true. Do the research.

  • @Lintflas What you are saying is that German Exporters need a weak Euro so they can export more. In order to keep the Euro weak and enrich these exporter corporations the German Tax payer must pay trillions of Euros which are then flushed down the toilet of the dysfunctional economies and banking system of Greece, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Portugal and Belgium. Wow - what a brilliant system. I wonder why they still haven't given you a nobel prize for dreaming it up

  • @politicaltourist As the trillions of Euros are flushed down the toilet of bankrupt economies and keep insolvent banks afloat the German Tax payer is stripped off his/her savings (Germans have little savings and rely mostly on the state for their future pensions), and Germany is bankrupting itself and at the same time pretending to be the savior of Europe. Greece has a 175% debt to GDP and Germany has 105%. China growth is 11%, German is 2.5%. Does it look like Germany is a "star performer"?!?

  • @politicaltourist Sorry, but you got there sth. wrong. Germany's debt is about 80% right now. America's debt is about 100%. And Germans hold a lot of savings. Actually this is the reason why everybody is complaining, they "do not consume enough". ;) All those government debt, you know who borrowed the money? The people. So nothing is lost. Check the Cumulative Current Account Balance, USA itself is in terrible debt and the people as well. Germany has 800bn plus. USA is on the bottom of the list.

  • @techrhythm The statistics flaunted by the governments and especially ECB are not to be believed. According to the ECB the inflation rate in the Euro Zone was 0% in 2009 and rose to 1.7% in 2010. Ask your mum or wife and espe ially yourself if they think that prices rose by only 1.7% in the last 2 years. It is a joke! Only last week, the ECB "discovered" 30 Billion Euros that "slipped" out of its calculations and actually made the debt of Germany smaller in order to drive Merkel's point through

  • @techrhythm Public debt to GDP is 80% but private debt to GDP is 160%! Most smaller banks are insolvent and kept on life support. Last week even the bigger banks (Deutsche, Kommerz) shed 25% of their stocks worth in 3 days! Does that sound like a stable system to you? Surely germany is in a better position as there is no housing market and it is exporting to emerging markets but even that won't help a country that is demographically dying and keeps flushing Euros down the toilet of Euro Zone.

  • @politicaltourist Where do you got those numbers from? And I think you mix gross debt with net debt. What do you think: USA spends trillions on wars (many times more than any European bail out whatever package), USA export almost nothing (Germany alone exports by far more), "nobody" who has really money pays taxes, people are loosing their houses. Check for "Net International Investment Position". Germany has a plus of about 800bn. ;) USA has debts in almost every country.

  • @techrhythm You r the 1 mixing budget (governmental, i.e; public) surplus (as opposed to the deficit in USA, France, Italy etc) with Private Sector debt. These include mortgages, private pension fund liabilities etc. Surely the situation in Germany is better than Italy or Greece but if you compare it to Norway or Switzerland (who are outside the Euro zone and the EUSSR) who have respectively half trillion euros and 250 Billion Euros Soveriegn Funds u c that Germany is in fragile territory

  • And Americans flush their money down into bankers throats. :D Investments in the eurozone are highly beneficial for Germany. Germany's economy is doing better than in the last 20 years right now. Birth rates are going up, unemployment is decreasing, exports flourish, ... Even the "oh now it is Italy" is performing better than the US. The only problem is that there are no big rating agencies in Europe. The eurozone is an investment in European peace. Alternative: war against Iraq, Iran, ...?

  • @techrhythm What makes u think that by opposing the corrupt and futile policies of the EU I am in any way endorsing the even more corrupt and criminal policies of USA? Germany has an excellent industrial base and an efficient highly productive economy but this doesn't trickle down to the Average Fritz on the street. Average Fritz is blitzkrieged by the media 24/7 that Germany's situation is so great when in fact it is clear once you cross into Denmark, Switzerland, Luxembourg that its not true

  • @politicaltourist There was no "Blitzkrieg" since WWII. ^^ This is insulting, though Bush might have dreamed of a "Blitzkrieg" in Afghanistan or Iraq. Haha. Luxemburgs GDP per capita is only high on the first sight, L. is very small and the GDP is so high because of cross-border workers from D., B. and NL. Switzerland can't export anymore because its currency appreciated massively (wouldn't have happend with the Euro) and Denmark, ok I agree. And German media never says anything is great. :D

  • @techrhythm The dumb European Public that is tricked to believe that the Euro's greatest "achievement" is that it is a relatively depreciated currency and "required" for exporting is crazy. There are many other methods to keep a National Currency low, i.e: interest rates, pegging, price and currency controls, by handing more of it to your citizens etc. These don't include negative real interest rates that amount to giving a trillion euros to failed banks in PIIGS and impoverishing Europeans!

  • @techrhythm "Switzerland can't export anymore because its currency appreciated massively" - NONSENSE!

Go into any duty free shop in a major airport anywhere in the world and compare how much Swiss Chocolate, Swiss Watches and Swiss Jewelry are sold in comparison with German ones. Continue to live in la la land and if you want a depreciated currency that doesn't reflect the strength and potential of the German Economy why don't you suggest Germany adopts the Bangladeshi Rupee or the Zimbabwe $?

  • @techrhythm You have been taken to the cleaners (lied to) and made to believe that Germany, Netherlands, Finland and Austria need a bunch of corrupt, unproductive and highly indebted countries like the PIIGS in order to keep the euro artifically low and facilitate exports. If that is true why doesn't Singapore "adopt" Burma and why doesn't Chile "adopt" Bolivia, then create gigantic banking bubbles and a 4 trillion euro debt which is paid for by Singaporean and Chilean tax payers? You are M A D

  • @politicaltourist Let me get one thing straight, I study European Studies (includes European economics, politics, history, philosophy, law...), so I do not need to believe anything that is written in the media, because I can understand the stuff myself. Apart from that I speak three "and a half" languages, so I can read American as well as European (UK, F, DE, NL, AU, Swiss) news. The EU and Eurozone is very complex (which is a problem sometimes), but it is a unique breakthrough and a great ...

  • @techrhythm As you are a student of European Studies I expect it would be extra hard for you to conceive of the realities of the economic and demographic catastrophe the people's of Europe suffer by the undemocratic EU. Even if you do I am sure you won't admit to them, or may be you think the mess is a positive development.I suggest you come out of your cocoon and travel around Asia and Latin America for a better perspective for your comparison based apologetic. Good luck to us all!

  • @politicaltourist achievement on a war shed continent. Germany is not the US, it is big in Europe but still very small and you had to change your currency every meter. Before the Euro was introduced, Germany's economy was struggling, The workforce was to expensive. Now almost every country is strugglng, but German exports are growing. Chinese are not buying American or other cars and machinery, but German ones, because they can pay for it and the quality is great. Take a closer look at I,IR,E..

  • @techrhythm ... they are not performing as bad as the media suggests. Italy has a great industrial sector, Spain was performing extremly good until the crisis and they have good capacities to reform, Ireland was for years one of the fastes growing economies. Not lazy, not currupt (well, Italy a bit ;) )or sth. But all this stuff about "poor Germany".. Germany and all Eurozone countries benefit from the new achievements.Germany (and others) became so strong because of that.

  • @politicaltourist And btw.: If you have 100 apples per capita (Germany) and you add 2% you have 102 Apples. If you have 10 apples per capita (China) and you add 10%, you have 11 apples. Who increased its numbers of apples more? ;)

  • @politicaltourist If you are a christ, I will celebrate every atheist in Europe. Sad what some Americans understand under christianity....^^

  • Merkel jest ok

  • you fuckin european you fuckin communist you fuckin fascist you fuckin democratic you fuckin nigger you fuckin demon you fuckin devil you fuckin satanist you fuckin pagan you fuckin european you fuckin goverment goverment without king is like man without dick glory for the king we are waiting the king back and we want him greetings from greece

  • Tip: Ignore people on YouTube who think they know what the fuck goes on in politics.

  • so much applause xD I think she was annoyed by that haha

  • She has a good reputation however i am always baffled at foreign leaders speaking their language in the US and UK when they speak English fluently: Chirac did the same. I thought it would be a matter of courtesy....

  • @mattbod it's a sort of protocol started by the united nations. since no one speaking at the UN can speak one language that everyone will understand, they speak in their native language and depend on translators. maybe merkel expresses herself better in german than english?

  • @mattbod actually, the parts of English you heard at the beginning were most likely rehearsed. Angela Merkel does not speak English, but she probably knows a few phrases so she can connect with Amerikaners more.

  • @Jborgen441 Merkel is fluent in German, English and Russian. Most Europeans speak at least two languages, people in higher positions often three or four or more... (Almost) nobody can reach really high positions without speaking english in Europe. It's not a speacial thing to speak english...^^

  • @techrhythm Angela Merkel does not speak English, and her Russian skills are not what they used to be (When she was in school in East Germany, where Russian was a mandatory language).

  • @Jborgen441 I know that Russian was a mandatory language in East Germany. I am sure she reads Russian newspapers from time to time, maybe books and english newspapers for sure. And every head of state in Europe speaks English, because you can simply not survive as a high politician Europe without speaking English (every exemption is always a scandal). There are many videos where you can see her chatting with Obama without translators. And I guess it is not Obama who speaks German with her. ;)

  • @techrhythm Angela Merkel does not speak English. If you think she does, your knowledge of German politics is something else. If she needs something translated, she calls up her friends in the translation department of the Bundestag and they do it. Also, it's not hard to rehearse a conversation. When you ask "How are you?" people aren't going to say "well I think the economic policy of Russia is more offensive this year than last's".

  • WOW: That was a very inspiring speech - even for me as a "west-German".

  • Wow... Ms. Merkel speaks very good English-I dunno why I'm surprised by that, or impressed, but I am. What a classy lady.

  • @wilb6657 That being said...why didn't she CONTINUE to address her audience in her beautiful English?! She was addressing an AMERICAN audience in AMERICA-so why did she speak to them in GERMAN?! And to think-that silly German politician had the nerve to get offended when the British journalist asked him a question in English.

  • Too much applause. Angie must have been annoyed. I know I was.

  • Here in the Netherlands our prime-minister and other governmentmembers have to talk in English if they have a speech for foreign people, but from ohter countries, they don't have to, very strange and not good for their reputation I think.

  • Actually state heads nearly always speak their native language only, even if they're really good at their 2nd/3rd language. It has to do with a so called diplomatic agenda, to level the fields and prevent giving one side the advantage/disadvantage. That's why American representitives, although being able to speak Spanish, stick to English in Spanish speaking countries.

Oh and btw, her Russian is better than her English, afterall that's the language she learned in school.

  • @GermanEfficiency You're a big fucking genius aren't you? Is Obama supposed to speak German? NO. Are other heads of governments supposed to speak English as a universal language? YES. go away idiot.

  • @XUltra00 Bullshit. Never heard of an interpreter? Idiot.

Have you ever seen China´s of France´s ministers talking English to Obama?

Yes, you´re a fucking hero, thinking, the whole world speaks English only because the Yankees and you speak it. Just look into the background you faggot, everybody has an interpreter-device.

  • @GermanEfficiency @XUltra00 So why doesn't she speak English when he is meeting Obama?

  • Great speech Chancellor! I hope she enjoyed her stay.

  • People in Europe are able to speak several languages apart from their own.Americans never make an effort to learn a foreign language by clinging to their native lingo which is a copy,a version of the language of England.

  • Germany's chancellor can't speak English? :O :O :O

  • English subtitles have errors

  • First 3 minutes is just clapping, I wish I had that kind of reception when I entered a room.

  • @tomsega

Nothing bad about that. Germans admire this optimistic attitude of American people and most of us consider it as one of their best virtues.

  • They should applaud her more, that was not enough.

  • Forbes listed her as the most powerful woman in the world.

  • @Lintflas She is not even the most powerfull woman in germany. The two most powerfull women in germany are Friede Springer and Liz Mohn wich controll basicly all media and press. Merkel is just living by their hand.

  • @Teufelsnachbar667

That's bullshit. Of course the Chancellor of Germany has more power than the richest people in Germany, even if they own the media, but in the end all politicans depend on the press.

Merkel still is the most powerful leader of the biggest economy in Europe, and Germany keeps the whole continent together. Without Germany there's no EU, and that's why a german chancellor has such ponderosity. She's not just the chancellor of Germany, but the secret leader of Europe.

  • @Lintflas Are u that naiv that you think that Merkel has any real power ? Read the german constitution, after ww2 we had to change our whole system and the chancellor has no real power.Learn a bit german and view videos from Georg Schramm who explains a lot of whats going on here.

  • @Teufelsnachbar667

Ok, if we see things your way, no politician in the word has any power and they're all puppets, but that's not quite correct.

Actually they have the power, but they don't use it, because they get lulled by all those corporations and their lobbyists.

  • @Lintflas Very true. Germany makes up about 48% of all of the economy in Europe. Europe is in a sad state right now. . . even more so than the rest of us.

  • @Lintflas Lucky she is. Other than Frau Merkel, they're all morons.

  • An ideology which is based on hatred towards other humans won't bring anything healthy to HUMANITY. History is a science which helps us to remember the atrocities we've done in the past and to learn from them. The fact of having active racist parties doesn't show us that we've become democratic and tolerant, it sadly shows us that we've absolutely learned nothing at all from history. Maybe we should also allow pedophile and satanist parties while we're at it, for the sake of democracy.

  • old germany sieg heil!

  • Some lady this is. 2 Day s ago she declared the multi cultural society in Germany is a failure. Obama, who is a product of what multi culture society can do, is the opposite of that declaration she helt. "Germans should see themself as fools allow moslims be a part of German society" she said. How fast times change. Western europe returns to times i considerd dead and buried.

  • @germo68 No, immigration in the US and Germany are vastly different. Merkel and her friend want immigration like in the US, they want good people to come in. At the moment immigration in Germany (or at least a large part of it) consists of unqualified, non-integrating people that came here when Germany needed cheap labour. This is of course is not the case anymore. Merkel and her friends use the US as a model for what they want. She says unconditional tolerance cannot continue. She's right there

  • @germo68

""Germans should see themself as fools allow moslims be a part of German society" she said"

Whats your source? I don not think she ever said that.

Her statement about multiculturalism has to be seen in an other context. it is about people living in germany for decades without speaking even rudimental german.

She also said, that germany needs immigrants, but they have to integrate into society.

  • @germo68

You are wrong. Obama isn't any kind of guy Merkel would see as a part of the multi cultural failure! He's the opposite. He is integrated in American society of course and that's all what the Germans and their chancellor demand from people immigrating here! Respecting the constitution, learning the language and if possible taking part in every day life: Having a job, being engaged and interested. That's all. We call it integration. "Multi-Kulti" refers to "everyone like he wants to".

  • @BlauerBooo Obama is not an immigrant. He is a native born American. As such, no one has any right to suggest that he integrate to anything, and he cannot be used as an example of someone "integrated in American society". He has a right as a citizen to help shape and change the culture of this country. It is very odd to me as an American that you think in terms of integration and not in terms of inclusion.

  • @poolopis01

Sorry, of course you are right about Obama not being an immigrant ^^....

So let's forget about it. Just if he were an immigrant, he would still be the best example of positive integration. I mean - which office can be higher than the president's? ^^

  • wow.. standing ovations for entrance

  • I said Germany 'has' a Republic. Obama is President of the UN which is an outright illegal conflict of interest. If our laws and Constitution mean nothing, we have already ceased to exist as a nation and republic in any real sense. BP, banned from drilling in Britain and elsewhere, effectively tells the United States that they will do as they please in blatant disregard to the EPA's demand not to use the very toxic dispersant COREXIT. Many banksters are operating in disregard to US law. Be angry

  • I'm fed up with germans apologizing for killing the jews. It's embarassing to watch. And why do it in America? There are only 4 million jews in the whole country, 1.5% of the US population. Apologise in germany israel and poland, not the US.

  • @maureenOWW

Sorry, but one - as former western allied power - can't have always set German officials as well as Germany as a nation and its people under pressure to admit cruelties done in war, ask for ruefulness and create a bad conscience and THEN, after some decades, if Germany's military power is needed again in allied operations, ask for troops and say, hey, enough of guilt, take part again and - please - just stop apologising for the holocaust. THAT DOES NOT WORK!

  • Edit:

Sorry, but I had to say it this way. It's something about the German soul as well as about the German feeling for responsibility, being an important part of the German sense of life today. You might like it or not, but you can hardly change it.

And hey: After WWI many said Germany would do it again, after WWII they said Germany would never learn. I tell you: This is the proof. Germany - especially its citizen - are as peaceful as never before, war is no option. No to Iraq was logical.

  • @BlauerBooo I'm not american, or part of a former western allied power (I'm irish). The germans go too far to the left, the japanese too far to the right (as in not saying anything at all and honouring war criminals). The middle ground would be appropriate for both.

  • @maureenOWW Well every German leader does it regularly. Everywhere, anytime. And that's not a bad thing. It may be displeasing to some people, but it's far better than slowly forgetting about it or not really acknowledging it at all (*cough* Japan).

  • @Fejojosu comparing to germany, not only *cough* japan, but also *cough* usa, russia, france, britain and the rest....or did they excuse for anything in their past? not acknowledging the mistakes of the past, will lead to misery in the future! and we see it every day!

  • I wonder when the US will have a president who has a docorate in Quantum Chemistry, or something equally intellectually demanding?

  • @maureenOWW

By the way: It's physics, not chemistry ^^. But hey.. that does not strenghten Merkel's qualities as a leader and if you look at German polls, we are hardly unsatisfied with our actual government which is simply doing NOTHING.

  • @BlauerBooo 'By the way: It's physics, not chemistry' - how about you don't talk about things that you clearly know nothing about? Merkel was a researcher in QUANTUM CHEMISTRY.

  • @maureenOWW

Sorry, it's not that my English would be that great... I thought you were talking about her doctorate. ;)

This was surely most important in my response ;)

    Good night.

  • What you don't hear above the clapping is her saying 'You fools, we have no forgotten the last war, we shall have our revenge'.

  • Hiel Hitler!

  • Hopefully America never gets a women president. It's not right for a women to have power and authority, over people.

  • I'm glad that at least Germany still, for the moment, has a republic. God Bless and Protect Chancellor Angela Merkel! God save the remnant!

  • @draphaelc

Somehow I feel a bit displeased by your sentence, Germany "at least" had a republic "for the moment". If I look at the news sweeping across from America, our democracy seems to be more stable, our people's confidence in democracy seems to be more determined than yours. I don't like to be condescended to by people who are not informed at all but have the arrogance to think they know it all anyway...

  • Im sick of not being able to find videos without some twat talking over them.

  • @notsofriendlyskies me too i just wanna listen to her speak but instead i get two vocies and its very hard to listen too

  • nancy, obama and biden need to pay close attention to the "american dream" part, because they are systematically destroying that now.

  • @Kelthuzad126, well, you are either a fool, or a fascist.

  • @StartLoving2 You should know that fascists are socialists.

And that socialism is destroying the American dream.

  • @Valenhiem Fascists are NOT socialist. Weren't ever. The Nazis used the term to appeal to the masses in post WW1 Germany, where the working class was very sympathetic to socialism (which is the rule of the working class btw. go look up Marx' definition of socialism). The Nazis didn't want to be fascists, because that's what Mussolini etc. called themselves. THe Nazis were different.

But they were NEVER socialists. Nationalism is not socialism. And socialism doesnt equal welfare etc.

  • @Valenhiem The American Dream has never worked. At least not in the last 40 years. It became a nice fairytale to keep the 99% working. Almost no one made it to the top in the last years. It's a few people exploiting the rest and telling them they are free. They simply send them either in prison or war to fight for resources. Simply hillarious.

  • @StartLoving2 You're wrong, Kelthuzad126 is both.

  • @Kelthuzad126 Is there really any doubt that they are knowingly destroying the American dream for all natural-born Americans? (a purely rhetorical question)

  • @Kelthuzad126 Correct!

  • Her Excellency ? LMAO!!! haha haha sorry thats too funny. LMFAO

  • Germany and the USA are friends and allies. There are more German-Americans than any other nationality in the US. We love seeing Merkel come to the US and Germans love seeing Obama coming there.

  • I am a proud german AND i am proud to have many Brothers in the USA.

    Both are the greatest countries.

  • I don't trust them, give them some ground and they'll annex Austria and demand Danzig...

  • @FXThug Today germany is one of the most peacekeeping nations on the planet. Out of the dark germany has become the driving force of the european union to make excellent and reliable partnerships with it's neighbours and across the world. Human rights and freedom of speech are the figurehead and NOT negotiable for germans. Everyone in europe confirms this, so maybe you don't know anything about germany?

  • @Lintflas I know I don't want to be burnt in a Oven.

  • @FXThug Maybe you put your head too often into the oven at your home? I'm half a jew and I don't have any problems with germans because they're open minded and very friendly people and you're an illiterate and brainwashed moron.

  • @Lintflas You should tell that to Auschwitz survivors, I'm sure they'll be very open minded and happy to what you have to say.

  • @FXThug You can't blame all germans for what happened in the horrible holocaust. Hundreds of thousands germans were against Hitler, and thousands of germans had been killed by resisting this misanthropic and repressing dictatorship. I like the germans because this country and it's people is totally different today. Just ask todays german jews about germany. They will confirm it.

  • @Lintflas Yea the Jews in Germany must really love Germans.

  • @Lintflas is their still a lot of Nazis in German? and are they slowly depleting over time?

  • Austria would have joined Germany after WWII if it was not forbidden. The Allied powers demanded that Austria would never seek special relationships (including economic) with Germany for our independency. This promise is kept and an Austrian identity is growing. But expecially the west of Austria culturally is simply a part of Germany. We are one culture.

  • @AustrianAtheist Of course we all know your one people, and you'd be happy to be part of a Greater Germany. Then of course we the Anglo American Alliance would never let you, a union with Germany and a powerful central European nation is bad for Britain. so to respond to your message, no shit we won't let you ya NAZI scum. Should have let Morgenthau have his way.

  • It was an Austrian promise to both Russia and US/F/GB, and it is part of our constitution. However, the minority policy of Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, France has extremely improved (autonomy for Germans, biliingual schools..) the whole topic is not as important as it was. At least in the EU we are united. You should not call me Nazi, only because I am from Austria (yes, Austrians have started WWI, WWII..) We are more patriotic than the Germans of Germany but not Nazis

  • ich binn ein stolzer deutscher, und das war eine wunderbare rede von angela merken / im a proud german, and that was just a wounderfull speech from angela merkel.

  • @Liqu1d16 *merkel*

  • wow, very fine speech! Why can't she talk like this in our congress? ;-) But it is really true what she says. Not enough words on Youtube to explain but that out of the ww2 our nations became friends is almost a miracle. My great grandfather was a german soldier. After the war he was imprisoned by the british and he spoke so warmly of them and of how fair they were treated by the British and Americans. This and the Rosinenbomber and MArshall-plan made it possible. This was human victory over war

  • Angela Merkel can speak english very well but, being a native speaker, is much better at German. She is speaking in German so she can be sure of what she is saying and so as to convey her true meaning and sincerity.

  • merkel speaks english.....

  • All that bla bla bla about her talking in english.. when did you hear Obama or Bush talking in the native language of the country they were visiting? Exactly, it never happened.

    So shut up.

  • Most prime ministers and presidents of big european countries don´t speak english. But most primer ministers of the Netherlands and nordic countries do speak english. Of course most british and american politicians don´t speak a foreign language

  • I don't care. They do not speak english in front of the press at international events ort any other political event.

  • Because they do NOT speak english. Period. Type "Sarkozy and Carla in english" and check it out

  • netherlands and scandinavian countrys arent the big ones, their leaders speak english in public,

angela merkel speaks perfectly russian and english and is learning french now, but, again, as chancellor of germany she will never speak english in public, english is the language of ENGLAND!!!

  • If Merkel speaks perfect english she would not hide that "perfection" in public.

  • maybe you just dont want to understand...

  • XodoX,

George Bush, actually speaks fair German. Perhaps not as good German, as Dr. Merkel speaks English, but fair. His father, speaks a good deal of French. Obama on the other hand, only speaks English without seeming ability or desire to learn another language.

Heads of State or Parliamentary Leaders always address foreign bodies in their native language. It is proper and customary.

  • @XodoX Bush poke English ?

  • Is Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel FLUENT in English?

  • yes she is. But she has a strong German accent and does grammatical mistakes. I think her Russian is probably better than her English since she grew up in former eastern Germany.

  • i agree with FacetiousJosh

  • merkel presents a good image for germany i like her old gordon brown wuldent get such a warm welcome anywhere and culdent make a speech of that standerd
