i think if it were a movie it would be rather interesting. all i ever knew was my view on the book. maybe it would be nice to get a different perspective. how someone else saw the events play out. it would have to be an armature film though. i dont think Hollywood would do a very good job with it

i think TCITR would be a boring movie. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely my favorite book of all time, but really, the movie would just be Holden walking around trying to get someone to listen to him, and there would be a bunch of dialogue and people would get bored of listening to him. Or at least the ones who haven't read the book. But if a movie was made, I definitely won't be those morons who'll say crap like "Ugh, they just totally ruined the book for me!" that doesn't make any sense.
