mud is alot more dangerous than quicksand because you can go under if its deep enough, where as quicksand its impossible to go under, search "man vs wild mud fall" and you'll see what i mean

it did not smell good,it was the smell of methane like cow poop ,swamps,ect.i have never smelt tar pits.

Sorry - that is just mud with sand on top. Real quicksand is all sand/slight clay mixture, that usually doesn't have the decaying vegetation levels beneath. Deep mud, however, is in my opinion more dangerous than real quicksand as you can get really stuck in it faster and more easily.

i see you would know about mud but the quicksand of wich you speek is steriotypical quicksand. this is quicksand. i will try to find a good place to demonstrate this, but i greatly appreciate your opinion and feedback!!
