I think he did an awesome job - very intense. He plays with a lot of heart... and very charismatic.
He is definitely one of my favourite drummers. But, I am not going to say 'He is the best drummer in the world' because that just seems a bit silly - I havent seen every drummer in the world and I like different drummers for the different things they bring to the table.
I do love high-energy players... of which Shannon definitely is one. He seems so intuitive with his playing. Its great.

You make me realy angry. You have no Idea about drums!!! Its not all about double bass and he can play fast for a long time. I've seen him 3 times live and he is awesome. He's NEVER offbeat and he CAN play with a double pedal. I'm a drummer myself and i've heard it often where he's using a douple pedal . If you don't believe me send me a message and i will send you some vdeos where he's playing it.

he can't even manage double bass and he can't play fast for too long like other drummers
in every song and solo he never uses double bass
