The original russian AK-47 is so rare that you won't believe it. The AK's you see in the movies and around the world is mostly east european and chinise. The communists gave the plans for the AK-47 to almost all the comunist contries. I would like to se the AKS-47U you are talking about.. And if it is airsoft they just give them names to avoid copyright..

Get some hand warmers and stuff them around your batteries. Small finger warmers work best since you can also put them in the gun with the battery.

@NEairsofter most AEGs will survive being fully submerged for a (very) brief period. As long as they're cleaned and dried properly at the end of the day they'll be fine.

@bboybreakcolby AK mags have larger magazine capacity than M4 mags due to them being larger, but a 74u will have a much shorter barrel than your standard length M4, and also (though more AK custom parts are becoming available) an M4 has infinite customizeability. In terms of performance and reliability that's down to the manufacturer. And you can attach rails and scopes to AKs.
