dont wall 2 18s. When you put subs in the trunk it basically makes it alot less bommier since the air is being pushed from the subs filling the trunk then into the cabin of the car. If you sit next to in front of your subs it sounds deep and boomy rite? but when you shut the trunk and sit in your cabin of your car with the subs playing in the closed trunk it sound tighter and less deep and boomy. I suggest 2 15 fi bls or btls off a audioque 2200d or hifonics brz 2400 @ 1ohm ported
@MusicWithDABASS That is because of corner loading and cabin gain. By porting upward which is my current plan it will create a horn effect similar to what you would see in a hatchback.
Trust me man, just don't wall it's a lot more work than you think and off 2600 watts it's not worth it... One of the members on my competition team runs 2 12" CVX's off a ZX2500.1D with a box in his trunk (4.5ft^) and he has room for 2 amps and 2 batteries back there. Personally eigther get another 2600w and 2 REALLY GOOD 18's that can take 2k daily, OR wall your trunk off with 2 12's or 2 15's whatever you have room for and just run the one amplifier. Depends on your budget.
This isn't my "opinion." more or an educated guess... I'd say don't wall off the power you have, you COULD wall 2 Level 4 DC 18's but you would want something like 2kw per subwoofer and that would require electrical upgrades as well (alt/batts) I would do a trunk build and fire 2 15's (if you can fit them.) into your cabin and seal the wall off, mount the amplifier to the back of your box and you should have room for like 1 or 2 batts. If you can't fit 15's for some really nice 12's.
@JBlNN I already plan on putting in a new alternator (probably DC 270XP) and a couple of extra batteries in the trunk and I am either going to upgrade to a second 2600 watt amplifier later or just start off by buying a DC 5k.
@devo85x Very expensive move you're making here haha... Personally if you're running Level 4's just get the DC 3.5K it will do about 4k and @ .5 ohm it'll do more than that and I wouldn't run more than 2kw per level 4 daily. Also 270xp is a bit much if you plan on getting 3 good batteries (1 starter, 2 in the back.) I would get with an Excessive Amperage 220a to save you a couple $100 dollars. DC amplifiers are VERY efficient so you dont need that much amperage.

Get the Excessive 220a and with the money you save get a DC amplifier (or similar, sundown etc.) Then just get 3 good batteries (a starter and 2 smaller rear batts.) I would do about 6ft^ per level 4 18" with 15in^ per ft^ tune @ 35 or lower (they love lows.) if you plan to compete a lot dont run a wall at all... Get 2 Level 4 12's and wall your trunk.
@JBlNN This build isn't so much as for competing as it is for getting my dream parts (i.e. the soundstream amps). I can always swap out amps later before upgrading if I chose and I might end up going with the DC XLs so they can take the extra power. I plan on tuning to 30hz and its gonna be closer to 7ft^3 per sub. Its hard to explain why I want a wall but just know I do want one.
@JBlNN I have been thinking about what you said and I think you are right. I know for sure I want to use 2 18"s but I think it may work to build the back seats into a box that doesn't go much higher than the rear deck and use a bit of the trunk to give about 12ft^3 for both Level 4s tuned to either 30-35hz. Subs would be front firing with a top firing port.
@devo85x Sounds solid, personally Level 4 18's ask for like between 20-28hz so I'd go anywhere from 28-30hz. Like I said unless you're competing, if you're competing tune to 35hz and no lower. Front firing is a must anyways if you wall haha and if you need to yes you can use some of your trunk space. Let me know if you need any help/.
could you get a vid of your car the trunk and the in side with the back seat flip down so we could get a good look what can be done and can't be that would grate but on a side note DC did not reply to you hu O'well and the amp sound good to I no EXO like his and if they can hold up to hem then there some good and red under glow I had blue your not a lone there
@ISUZU1987 I'm gonna try to pick up a camera in a few weeks so I can start shooting video but the back seats and door panels have already been removed. The trunk is only going to be used for amps/batteries but ill try. I also need to get a quote from DC to see what they can do for me but the money for the alternator is coming from my tax return so that won't be until feb.
@devo85x ok if you have went that far wall it only if you can insure that 4 (15) can have the right cu feet of air space and you can have the right size port if not 2 (18) A middle port and if you can one more amp but you got to make that call on your on and what you money look's like it hard sometimes to tell

@NeoPanzerth The one that was gonna be fore the file server actually got sold for about $250. I've been super busy all semester really and have had so many problems with my camera breaking and my girlfriend lost hers so I've gotta go buy a new one when I can so videos have been really hard to post.
