Absolutely brilliant. This woman has class, and it's amazing how someone can get so high in octave when it gets to 41 seconds into the song. Is this the highest note someone can get without rupturing their vocal chord?
where can I go to read the lebretti in english, so that I can know the story when I start going to performances. I glad the first time I heard Erl Koning or however it's spelled, it was translated. That really gave me goosebumbs.

I usually listen to Baroque Music for the reason of how amazing it is, but this is a personal favorite which I listen to more often than others...really because of how it tests the abilities of a Soprano to her highest! I am amazed as to how beautiful and dramatic it is!

@chapeauxchick Actually, it is not the highest note written at the time Mozart wrote this opera (in the year 1791). He wrote a higher note (G6, in scientific pitch notation) in 1778/1779 in the concert/insertion (recitative and) aria "Popoli di Tessaglia...
