@waltleroy01 isn't that kind of the point tho? If one of them is a weaker swimmer or biker he should train more on that part of the event! It's a tri not a single event... That's why they're called TRI athelons! Lol
They should shorten the bike by about 10k to make it more even across all disciplines. The bike is too heavily weighted. Potts is a much better swimmer and runner, but he still lost. Something's not right.
im curious. these type of races do not have cars for the cyclists right? what happens if he/she gets a flat? are they just out of the race..or out of luck? or is there a way they get a new bike?
@Bhousm76 There are bike mechanics but for the most part racers have to fix their own flat tires mechanical problems or drop out...unlike the professional cyclist.
