What is wrong with you people? All the negativity, good grief. The chap does a great job of delivering the tounge twister, this monologue. No, he is not Hugo Weaving but how many of you could possibly deliver it any better? So why be so God foresaken critical?! Let people enjoy doing what they do without inserting your obviously envious, degrading comments. Just getting the memorization part alone deserves a "well done lad."
great job with the memorization but, you need pauses in certain places. It sounds like you're racing the words out of you mouth before you forget them.
@suisidexkl123456 So by "deleting all the comments that are at the same level IQ of a garden snail", you would end up deleting yours too. For you did not only film yourself doing a monologue(as stated), which is infamous by itself, you then proceeded to put it on Youtube. Taking up our time, by saying that there wasn't a reason to do it, you contradicted yourself by following with, "I enjoy recreating things", which IS why you did it. Also do the sound and video separately, with a girl as EV
Just stop, please. Perhaps you can try some other time once you've done some proper rehearsal and gained more experience.
Your monologue displays deficient acting abilities as well as no regard for emotion. To be perfectly honest, this speech bears no resemblance to the original one.
It's not my intention to offend you, but this is truly a travesty.
I've studied quite the amount of theater myself. You're always going to have assholes that are going to call you a failure, but you always take that constructively. You need to. Theater is a very hard profession to survive in. But if you're truly devoted, you can make it. I've had a hundred people tell me my performance on one thing or another was shitty, I took it, used their critic and made myself a better actress. Good job man. Don't give up either.
That was shocking. Seriously. and grow up kid, things like "FAIL" or "LOSER" is criticism that you should take on board. You can't be a theatre actor if half the crowd is yelling out FAIL or LOSER. So i wouldnt ignore people like and delete their comments without looking at yourself and taking some of it on board.
Constructive Criticism: Good memory. Full credit for that. BUT Very poor delivery and extremely monotonic for what was originally an attractive, lively and enthusiastic monologue.
As a first year theatre student, i understand you're extremely underdone, but I would consider a new career path while its still early for you to get out.
But if you decide to stick it out (i strongly recommend not doing so though), perhaps consider a different genre than drama.
Bravo! I know first hand that it is a little difficult speaking through that mask. I have one too. This is my favorite from V. Isn't it so much fun to say?? I LOVE IT!
@suisidexkl123456 Remember, remember, there are those that will attack you just because you dare to express yourself...and they always cast their stones while they hide behind a little one way window called a computer screen...
@suisidexkl123456 "IQ of a garden snail." I'm not trying to make you feel bad but, this recreation seems to be just stupid, you can't put a real feeling into the words or the performance, you are a retard for all of us.
P.S
The thing about not trying to make you feel bad was sarcasm. :3
P.S2
If you're able to learn the monologue, you're able to take acting classes :).
"A man in a maaaask", when 'V' said it he wasn't being dark and creepy, he was being sarcastic. It's a good idea when you impersonate a character, to know the emotion and the delivery you can say for each sentence. I will say it was a good job though, at some points you went a little to fast, or to slow, but all in all well done.
your putting to much pitch in the speach if you watch the hugo dude he holds it in about 5 diffrent pitches and try and english accsent and speak deeper and it might work
However, no shortage found here incapable of overcoming through training - I suggest putting yourself into similar situations, however, try growing accustom to having a close-up audience, even be it near relatives or close friends. This will make you more aware of your delivery as well as your body language, which coupled will make for an overall increase of authenticity. Certainly a good try, since you are not a professional actor just yet, but keep working on it. Practise makes perfect.
i think you did a grate epic ROCK ON JOB , but i must simpely add:p START LIVEING LIFE , i see you traped within the hollywood world ,BRAKE OUT BE IN IN LIVE MORE OF YOUR LIFE
I was watching this movie and making out with my girlfriend on the couch when all of a sudden she gently unzipped my Levis, pulled out my very hard Mr. Wiggly and gave me my very first blow job. After about five minutes and fifty five seconds, I came like a bucket full of silver dollars, wow!!! Let me tell you, it felt REAL GOOD!!! Does any body know if that's about the right timing? I don't know if that was too fast or not? I held back for as long as I could. I'm 19 and she's 19 too, Bogart
Thanks so much. I did it to audition for my school play last year, went really well. I said it in my head at least 2 or 3 times a day for like 2 months so. :D
You used this as an audition? I was thinking about doing that. I have it down as well. Memorized it for fun about three months ago, figure I might put it to good use. You did a pretty good job, but it seemed like you replicated the scene a bit too much. Try and make it your own. ;) Also, I'm jealous that you have the costume.
that was great i think that is one very great and well done film but why did you take the mask off at the end. im not trying to hate on you performance but i would have at the end walk up to the camera and turn it off so all you see is the mask of just make it seem like you turn it off if someone else was recording but i think it was very good
Horrible
