Getting AKAI to Work w/ FL Studio

Man i hope if you can do a tutorial about the mpd18 editor, how to set every pad's note in FL studio, the C notes....for Example to start in Bank 1 with PAD 1, i want it to play the C5 note in FL studio !!

Hi man, thnx for the video ! now i'lll go and buy a AKAI MPD18 , but one question first.

I saw on other videos; people using Samples on the AKAI, and playin it over it.. does it works as the same way like u did, u just put in samples on the drum pad over FL ? and it will play them, i mean whole samples..Peace from sweden ( sorry bout my english ) hope u understanding what im talking about haah..

IF THE MIDI ISN'T WORKING STILL:

1) press F10

2) "Input" - Check the Enable Button (make sure to choose your midi)

doctor , i found out how to assign the pitch with the q link fader. well all i did was right click it assign to controiller lol. this mpd18 is awesomeee

i pluged my pad in inserted fruity opened up fl basically i went by ur directions step by step and it still isnt working what should i do

hey man, question here: My pc can find the mpd 18 (with the installed software) but when i do EXACTLY what you do .. it does nothing.. i think that frutty loops doesnt reconize the mpd,.. do you have any suggestions ? thnx already :D

i tried doing this but it didint work , then i found out all i had to do was go to options>midi settings> and enable mpd18 as input

Yeah, I Know there is a way to change the pitch cause I saw a vid in wich some guy make a beat changing the pitch of the sample.

@DJDADoctor if you want to chop samples into wav files, with a changed pitch, you can use waveditor;D it works great!

And thanks for explain this I understood everything but, If I use a sample and then i cut the sample and i add that part in one pad, Can i change the velocity or the pitch of that part of the sample???
