fighting angelus was hard. i couldnt win...until i got hymir finger, something like that. the strongest yet slowest weapon in the game. love that weapon.
Well, the ending used is the one where Angelus is used as the goddess seal, which didn't break their pact, it only tortured her into Insanity, so in Drakengard 2 he cannot talk. In this ending they broke their pact, and Caim can talk, he actually does too around the beginning of the boss fight.
Ok theres SEVERAL diffrent endings in the game. The ending that goes to Drakengard 2 is the ending where angelous has the seals put on her and she "disappears". The other endings in the game like this one, are just there as... "what could of happen"
I believe in the sequel, the story on Manah's default weapon tells that after the going's on of the first DG, Caim kept Manah hostage in a certain sense, and eventually she used that rod to slash his left eye to escape him.
What happened was that in between darkengard 1 and 2 (the 18 years) Oror, nowes father fought against caim and he slashed Caims eye, they fought Because they wouldn't let Caim meet Angelus as he could not speak and they didn't know for sure that he has a pact with angelus, but Caim ended up Killing Oror.
No no no. Caim lost his eye due to manah stabbing it when he was distracted by angelus' mind shattering.And escaping after that. Caim started by killing verdelet, and becoming a criminal. Forcing the knights of the seal to act. As a result, he had to fight Oror and urick. He beat urick, who escaped, and managed to defeat Oror. I also think this was the battle that killed Arioch and Leonard, as they are not mentioned or seen in drakengard 2.

All Drakengard dragon's have them, and their chaos forms are the only ones the Empire used once they were under their control.(reason why they captured Angelus in the first place) Anywhozit, Angelus has just revealed herself to be the dragon created to destroy humanity, and by the will of th Holy Dragons, she was given the power to break the pact with Caim in order to fulfill her task. Caim is the ultimate Dragon slayer in my book. If he can take on a choas dragon and kill it by himself. Any others would be no problem for him. I wonder if Caim could beat Sephiroth? Hmm, probably not. But who knows.

Caim is the ideal character or person, and you can see they created a strong minded character cause killing your partners and family isn't somethign easy and what i like the most is how he gest when he fights a battle he kinda likes it cause he smiles....
Very weird people. All the games they create have a character losing someone they care about at some point of the game wether they are the antagonist or protagonist.
During the fight all Caim says is "I am Caim!" WTF?! If I lost my game for an entire game, I'd have a little more to say than just that, especially if I was going to kill my partner.
Lmao I doubt he takes many down, if any. Angelus was already enough of a pain in the ass, and Caim was stuck fighting her inside. Fighting a dragon out in the open would be almost freaking impossible, especially since Caim's pact was just broken. o_o;
I wonder what'd happen if you stuck a dragon in a seed of resurrection?
