  • You are awesome! i ♥ your videos!

  • Perfect video for me and my daughter--while watching this she said, "Woooo! I LIKE to DANCE!!!" (While strutting her moves.)

  • Great, helpful videos!! You're hysterically funny! If you and I got together we'd just laugh all day and crack each other up!!! Thanks for the helpful vid!!! Now I know how my carder ACTUALLY works! Better than the $25 book!!!

  • Awesome! Thank you for your wonderful videos! You are such a great personality. Love it!

  • Congratulations on 15,000 views. I've watched this demonstration several times and it's quite helpful. Well done!

  • Thanks for the making and posting these videos! In Part 1 I especially liked bamboo placemat trick. I'm finding Part 2 incredibly helpful because I bought my Patrick Green drumcarder used and it came without the manual, dofer, or cleaner brush. Now I know how to maintain my carder and take care of it better!

  • Can you spin straight from a batt or do you have to do something else to it? Also, if you card a white batt, can you dye the batt? I would love to try this, but I don't have the time, money, or space.

  • It'd pretty darned frustrating spinning straight from the batt without stretching it out into spinnable "bite-size" pieces. Check out my video Batty Rovings for instruction on how to turn your batts into spinnable rovings. :)

  • I was wondering if blending fiber that has already been made into roving would work well?

My family is a bunch of pasty red-headed irish folks who've sensitive skin, so I usually buy merino. Getting it in a solid color is a bit less expensive, and it'd be nice to be able to blend my own colour combination.

  • Absolutely. You just have to break it off into smaller pieces & fluff it a bit so you don't ruin the teeth on the carder.

  • Yeah! Good job! Was like a video game for fiber artists, hehehe!

  • LMAO yeah! Never thought of it that way. :) Have fun!

  • Awesome! I love how you show everything in fast motion instead of just saying you did something, like they do on cooking shows. You're my new she-ro!

  • Why thank you very much! Have fun!

  • What kind of a drum carder is this? I got hand cards recently, but I am a producer, and it doesn't go FAST ENOUGH!!!!! Yours looks like it works great, and I want to find one that will effectively blend wool, bamboo and silk etc. Any ideas??

You are great, and I love your personality- not a dull moment in your videos!! Keep it up. Love the super speed....

  • Deb Green Deluxe

  • Rexenne, do you sell your batts on Etsy?

  • LOL, I'm flattered but no, I use everything I make..eventually....LOL

Thanks for the positive feedback as it is always welcomed and appriciated!

  • Thanks so much for all the postive feedback! If anyone is unaware, I am doing a fundraiser to raise the funds to replace a RAM chip in my puter that is crappin out, making it impossible to edit video to upload to youtube. I have two more waiting to be edited! You can find my fundraiser page at rexenne. chipin. com/ new-1gig-ram-chip (take out spaces). I appriciate every little bit that helps! Thanks for your consideration and support!!

  • this makes me want to get a drum carder and start spinning wool! this is awsome!

  • Just call me "The Enabler!" *snort!*

  • you're my hero

    you rock

    yah!!!!!!!!!

  • Sweeeeet!!!

  • The demo on how to clean the carder drums is so helpful as is using the burnishing tool. Susan's Fiber Shop offers wonderful customer service. Thanks so much for putting together a great video series!

  • You are welcome and thank you for the positive feedback as it is always appriciated!

  • Hello Rexenne, a very nice video. I like your style. And the music is motivating. I was looking for a drum carder to buy - suddenly I found your video. Your drum carder is from...??? Greetings from Germany, Birgit

  • I purchased mine from Susan's Fiber Shop in Columbus WI, and it is a Pat Green Deb Deluxe. I'll have to add that to the vid description! :) Thanks for the positive feedback! It is greatly appriciated!

  • Agh! I can't wait for Part 3 (unless I'm dumb and it's up already)!!! I'm so excited to see the next segment.

  • Your videos are always fantastic and educational, and it's always apparent you have a blast doing what you're doing:) Keep up the great work!!

  • Thanks so much! I appriciate your positive feedback!
