Well the whole jumping out of their seats and screaming is more a part of American tournaments, it sometimes happens in Japan too but I've mainly heard it's more peaceful. This is from Evo which is one of the biggest American tournaments.

Hey I was wondering what the difference between third strike and the alpha series is? I just got Alpha 3 because I love SF4 and it's awesome, but there's no mention of parries anywhere in this version :S This video was nuts btw!!!!!!

Storywise, street fighter alpha happens before Street Fighter 2. Street fighter 4 happens after Street fighter 2 but before 3. Gameplaywise, Street fighter alpha 3 has alpha counters, juggles, and 3 styles of super specials whereas Street Fighter 3 has parries. Also, parries were taken out of street fighter 4 I guess to make it more accessible to newer players (and possibly because they would not be easy to do with online lag)

do anyone knows how to do that combo that was done with Ken after he parried chun li's super. its like its hard to execute ken's super after that low uppercut lookin punch. Most of those combos dont look 2 hard but they are. I just can't execute the super after the punch in that Ken combo.

actually is the MP shoryuken...LP shoryuken hits once and throw you over the air, the mp shoryu hits twice, when hits the the first time hit then you cancel with the special.

OMG seeing the whole fight in context just heightens the epicness of it. Until right near the end of the third round it seems like it'll be a total beatdown just like the second round.

that IS the greatest match ever. The dude playing Ken was amazing. What he did was probably the hardest thing ever, the girl pulled off a super combo and launched into a flurry, he COUNTERED every shot, about a million times harder than blocking and then he even JUMPED and countered the kick.
