I always take the beginning scene to heart because i suffer from severe depression and i basically tell my girlfriend the same thing when it comes to why i dont want kids, "im prone to depression, i have a grim attitude towards the world, but i can handle it. kids though..it would break my heart to watch them go through the same shit because you dont know if they have the tolerance for this shit like i do and kill themselves. i would kill me to watch it happen to them
